Anna walked around the castle alongside her sister. Elsa was busy commanding maids and servants on where to things would be placed. She'd already finished yelling at the chef about the entrees that were to be served. Not to mention the cake.
"Elsa, clam down. I know you're strssed out, but so are they. They're the ones who have to do all the work" Anna said, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"I know, I know. I just really want everything to be perfect. I mean, this is my wedding!"" Elsa exclaimed.
She made some ice form on the floor at her excitement. Anna winced, quickly melting it. Ice had become a hug problem for her ever since she'd gained fire powers. Cold itself had become a problem. She tried her best to act like it was no big deal so as not to hurt Elsa. But, it wasn't easy.
"Sorry. I need to calm down" Elsa said, looking down.
"No, you're fine. I'm just...not into cold that much anymore" Anna replied, chuckling nervously.
"That doesn't seem to be the only problem. Is something wrong?"
"No. Why?"
"You seen awfully...down. Is it because of...Kristoff?"
Anna immediately flinched at the reminder. It'd been about 3 and a half months since her and Kristoff had called it quits. They'd just decided it was time to move on. They just...weren't getting anywhere.
"No. I'm fine. What we had was nice for a while. But...it faded" Anna replied, fiddling with her hands.
Elsa nodded slightly in agreement. She quickly went back to taking care of preparations. Anna watched for a bit before walking away, deciding to take a walk.
She walked out the castle gates, adjusting the fancy shawl over her shoulders. After a good hour of walking, she looked around. Seeing she was far enough into the woods, she took off her shawl, exposing her shoulders and back.
"Now that I'm alone, I may as well practice" Anna said aloud, waving her palm.
In doing such, flames rose from it, emitting minor heat. But, she barely felt it. The heat never bothered her anyway. She fired off a blast of flames into the sky. It soon burst into many bright colors, blinding her momentarily.
"Not bad. But, it coulda been more gentle. I don't want to set anything on fire" Anna muttered to herself, sitting on a rock.
As she sat playing with her energy, she suddenly felt nervous. It felt like someone was..watching her. Almost breathing down her neck. Only, each time she looked back, nothing and no one was there.
Anna shook her head, telling herself to ignore it. But, that was a huge mistake.
A pair of red eyes glared at her from within some thick branches. After watching her for a while longer, they disappeared. But, the image of the young female creating flames, never did.
