Anna and Blazer had been traveling for approximately three days now. So far, none of Hiccup's Dragons had caught up with them. The further away they got, the better chances they had of not getting caught.
Anna's eyes were just barely staying open as Blazer landed. She hadn't slept probably since the day she'd started running. After, it's hard to rest easy when a stalker intends on making you his one way or another. She ended up collapsing off the side of the Dragon, hitting concrete. The last thing she saw was somebody running towards her.
Anna blinked a few times, straining to adjust to the lighting. Once she could see properly she sat up. Ok...she was in a bed. A nice one at that. Where could she possibly be?
As if in answer to that question, a woman walked into the room. She scurried over to Anna's bedside, leaning over slightly.
"Are you feeling any better?" She asked.
"Um...yes. A little" Anna replied.
"Might I get you anything?"
She could barely make out the woman's face in the dimly lit room. Once the woman had opened the red velvet curtains, Anna finally got a look at her face. It caused her to gasp in shock. The woman had white cloth wrapped entirely her head, covering her eyes.
"Don't panic. I'm merely blind. Nothing to be afraid of" The woman explained, smiling gently.
"How'd it happen?" Anna asked.
"It's a long story. I got into a bit of an accident. Nothing to worry about though. Like I said, Can I get you anything?"
"Um...maybe some water. My throat is rather dry" Anna said.
The woman nodded and scurried out of the room. A few seconds later, she returned with a glass full of water. Anna washed down the cool liquid. Letting it moisten her dry throat. And clam her rather jumpy nerves. As she set the glass down, a sudden thought hit her.
"W-What did you do to my Dragon?" She asked.
"Do not worry about her. She is resting up in the stables. I can bring her in if you would like" The woman replied.
Anna eagerly nodded. A few minutes later, Blazer bounded into the room cheerfully. Anna was so in covered in slobber as the Dragon happily kissed her. The woman patted the Dragon's head, surprisingly calm.
"I'm surprised you didn't panic at the fact it's a Dragon" Anna said.
"I have seen a Dragon or two. In the past" She replied.
Anna smiled as Blazer licked the lady's cheek, purring happily as her touch. Anna sat up a little, clearing her throat. "I'm Anna. Might I ask your name?"
"Nice to keep you darling. And the name is.....Valka" The woman replied.
Valka? Why did that name sound so familiar?
