Mitch P.O.V. 

“Mitch we need to start planning for the baby,” Elena said. 

“Elena I can’t think about that right now. I need to think about how I’m going to get Olivia away from Tim,” I said.

I was at my condo siting in the living room thinking up a plan to further ruin Olivia and Tim’s marriage. They couldn’t stay together when Olivia and I belonged together. Tim never compared to me and I was going to have to show Olivia that. 

“OLIVIA, OLIVIA, OLIVIA!  Damn it Mitch I’m tired of hearing about how much you love Olivia. We were engaged and I fell in love with you. I’m pregnant with your baby for goodness sake! When is it going to be about me,” Elena said. 

“Lower your voice Elena! Don’t forget who I am here! You won’t speak to me that way so shut the hell up,” I said. 

“Mitch why do you treat me like shit when all I’ve ever done is everything you’ve ever wanted. We could get married and move away. We could have a life together if you forget about Olivia,” Elena said. 

“I can’t forget about Olivia!”

“Why? She doesn’t love you Mitch. She and Tim are happy so leave them alone.” 

“It was supposed to be me. I was suppose to be married first and…. I’m supposed to be better than Tim!” 

“Mitch what is your obsession with being better than Tim?” 

“Everything has always come easy to him. He got Olivia with no real work. He just got promoted over my promotion so he’s basically my boss. He… He just gets everything!” 

“Mitch are you just jealous of him?” 

“No! I’m not jealous! I’m better than him! I’m happier than him!” 

“Mitch you don’t look happy and you look like you’re losing it.” 

“I’m not losing it! Damn it Elena you’re so fucking stupid!” 

“Mitch I’m going to be as calm as possible right now because I know you’re not yourself. I’ve seen this before. Mitch have you been taking your medicine?” 

“Medicine! Elena don’t start that shit with me! I’m fine I never needed that medicine the doctor who gave me those pills needed that medicine more than me! I’m fine I just need to see Olivia!” 

“Mitch maybe you should go lay down and I’ll make you some soup.” 

“Elena I’m fine!” 

Elena got up from the couch and walked over to me. She gave me a sympathetic look then gave me a hug. 

“Come on lets go take a nap. You’ll feel better when you wake up,” Elena said. 

“I don’t want to go to sleep I want to see Olivia!” I shouted. 

I was becoming agitated. Elena wasn’t listening to me. She was just telling me to take some damn medicine. 

Olivia P.O.V. 

It was a day before I was set to leave town with Tim so we could vacation and renew our vows. But before I left with Tim I had to stop by Mitch’s house to drop off his stuff that he had left at my house. 

I knocked on the front door and when the door opened a woman was there. The woman looked familiar but I couldn’t remember where I’d seen her before.
