Mitch P.O.V.

“Mitch what’s going on?” Olivia asked coming down the stairs. 

“Nothing baby just go back upstairs,” I said.

“Mitch Allen you are under arrest for the attempt at murder of Tim Eastwood,” a police officer said handcuffing me. 

Olivia rushed down the stairs as the police officer took me outside to his car. 

“Excuse me sir but what did Mitch do?” Olivia asked. 

“Ma’am you need to go back inside. He is being charged for trying to murder Tim Eastwood,” the police officer said. 

The police officer put me in the backseat and Olivia came over to me before he closed the door. 

“Is this true Mitch? Were you really the one who cut Tim’s brake line?” Olivia asked on the verge of tears. 

“I did everything for you and our babies,” I said. 

Olivia moved out of the way and the police officer closed the door. I might have been being charged but I wouldn’t go down without a fight. I wasn’t going to allow anyone to take me away from my future wife and kids. 

Olivia P.O.V.

I was pregnant with a murder’s twins. I had almost given up my marriage for a man that tried to kill off my husband! As the cop car pulled out of my driveway with Mitch in the backseat I went back inside my house. 

Today was so bittersweet because Tim was being released from the hospital and Mitch was now arrested for trying to murder Tim. The only good thing out of all this is I would be able to stay with Tim if Mitch went to prison. I hadn’t signed my divorce papers yet so I was still married to Tim. I was going to need Tim if Mitch was gone. 

I got my car keys and drove to the hospital to pick up Tim so I could bring him home. I didn’t know how he was going to react when he got the news about Mitch. 

Tim P.O.V.

I had such an eye opening morning when I woke up. I woke up in the hospital because today was the day I was being released. When I woke up there was a detective at the door that needed to talk to me. The detective told me that Mitch was caught on a security tape cutting the brake line to my car. 

The same guy that had been my best friend for years tried to kill me. I couldn’t believe it. 

But shortly after the detective left my hospital room to have a cop go arrest Mitch I got my memory back. I now remembered how Olivia had a full-blown affair with Mitch and I had a one-night stand with Elena. I couldn’t believe Mitch and Olivia tried to flip the script and make me feel like shit when I had first woken up from my five-month coma. I loved Olivia so much and didn’t understand why she would do this to me when we agreed to work things out. 

Hell the day I got into the accident I was on my way home to her to go on a cruise to renew our vows. I’d been such an idiot thinking we could work after all she’d done.

To make matters worse Olivia was pregnant. She told me the kids were mine then Mitch told me they were his. I didn’t know what to believe so I was going to have her take a DNA test. If they were my kids then ok if they weren’t then that would be hard to comprehend but I’d deal with it. 

I sat on the hospital bed just as Olivia walked into the room. No matter how angry I was right now with all that I realized I couldn’t deny that just seeing her made me remember all the good times I had with her before Mitch came along and ruined everything.
