Chapter 2- Spencer Hastings or not

At School Spencer was avoiding her friends mostly cause she didn't want to have to explain what has happened to her but her friends weren't going to be ignored at lunch time Spencer was sitting alone not for long.

"OK Spence let's cut the crap why have you been avoiding us?" Hanna asked.

"I haven't been avoiding you" Spencer said.

The 4 girls sat down.

"What happened to your eye Spence?" Aria asked.

"I went for a jog with my dad and I fell over" Spencer lied.

"Spencer I know when you are lying" Alison said.

"Did someone punch you?" Emily asked.

"No, of course not, that is the truth I went for a jog with my dad and fell over ask him if you like" Spencer said.

"Spencer you know you can tell us if anything....." Emily said before she was interrupted by Spencer.

"I TOLD YOU I AM FINE" Spencer said.

"Alright then" Alison said.

"Guys I am sorry i have had a ruff week since my mum left to go to England" Spencer said.

Spencer's phone bleeped, she picked it up and she read in her head.

"I heard you have a date with Toby tonight, I would cancel it if I were you or someone will have a accident"

Spencer was in shock.

"Spence, you look a bit shocked is everything OK?" Aria asked.

"Yes, I am good it was just my dad saying um...........He is going for a jog later so he might be late home" Spencer lied.

"Spencer is that a new phone where is your other one?" Alison asked.

"This phone is my dad phone dad uses it to text me and my other phone I.............Um..............I dropped it in the bathroom, hey Em can I use your phone to text Toby?" Spencer asked.

"Yeah sure" Emily said.

She gave her phone to Spencer and she went into the corridor to text Toby and tell him she couldn't make it tonight she made up and excuse without hinting that her father was abusing her.

"Guys, there is defiantly something wrong with Spencer I haven't seen her in this state since we thought Toby had died" Emily said.

"Well there is not much we can do if she won't tell us there is defiantly a reason" Aria said.

"Unless maybe she would open up to a teacher, Aria could to et Ezra to speak to her?" Hanna asked.

"I can try but what if she doesn't?" Aria asked.

"Then we know something is defiantly wrong and we can try and find out what" Alison said.

Just then Spencer came in.

"Hey guys, what were you talking about?" Spencer asked.

"Nothing much" Alison said.

"OK" Spencer said.

She sat back down.

Just then she received another text message, she picked it up dreading what it was going to say.

"Good girl Spencer I am glad you are co operating if you keep this up you won't be injured as much as i wish you were, and for tea today I want you to surprise me if I don't like it then you will get a nasty surprise"

"Spencer why do you flinch every time your phone rings?" Hanna asked.

"I don't, guys please stop questioning me" Spencer said.

Just then the bell rang Spencer got up and left.

"Hey Ezra" Aria said.

"Hi Aria, what is the problem?" Ezra asked.

"Well I think there is something wrong with Spencer and she won't tell us we think she might open up to a teacher so could you talk to her please?" Aria asked.

"Yeah sure she is in my class now so I will talk to her after, my class is here i will see you tonight" Ezra said.

"OK thanks see you later" Aria said then she left.

She walked out.

At then end of the lesson Ezra called Spencer up.

"Is everything OK Mr Fitz?" Spencer asked.

"Yes but I have been informed that you have not been yourself today I need to know is everything OK?" Ezra asked.

"Of course everything is OK, did Aria ask you to do this?" Spencer said with some anger in her voice.

"Yes are you sure everything is OK? Everything is OK at home and in School?" Ezra asked.

"Yes everything is fine, I don't need this right now" Spencer said in a louder voice.

Just then her phone bleeped, it was her dad again.

"Where are you get home now if you are not home before 6:00 you will be sorry later"

"I........I.............I have to go bye" Spencer said.

She ran out of the room she saw the time it was 5:30 she had half an hour to get home so she rushed home.

Ezra then texted Aria telling her everything Aria then texted everyone else including Toby.

Once Spencer got home it was 5:55 she was relived to get home in time.

"Where have you been?" Peter asked.

"Sorry Mr Fitz wanted to speak to me" Spencer said.

"I am going out make tea for one once I get home my tea better be on the table and you better be in your room no where else if you are lucky I won't come into your room" Peter said.

He then left slamming the door behind him Spencer began to make tea she then set out the table she took some plain bread up to her room she knew that Peter had come home when she heard the door slam she put her hands together and said quietly.

"Dear lord I know i have sinned a lot but please don't let my father come into my room to hurt me please i am begging you" Spencer said.

She sat on her bed for over an hour and she heard him come upstairs and she heard footsteps approach her door and then she heard the door............
