Therese's POV

I sat on the other ambulance my feelings mixed.

Feelings of worry, annoyance, anger, guilt, anxiety, nervousness and many more that I can't describe it.

I waited patiently to arrive in the hospital dreading getting inside the hospital.

Future is in God's hands.

When we arrived at the hospital my feelings got me most.

I ran towards the emergency room expecting to be welcomed inside.

Unfortunately not.

I shouted.

I ran to the counter.

"Can I borrow the telephone please?"

"Yes you may." The nurse-in-charge replied.

I dialed Summer's cellphone number and after 2 rings, she answered.

"Hello sweetie pie!" Summer cheerily greeted me.

I broke down.

"What's wrong Reese?" she asked, worry etched on her voice.

"Please come here at the Philadelphia medical center please." I instructed her.

"ok. Please tell me what happened after I arrived."

"Yeah. And I'm here in front of the emergency room doors." I reminded her.

"ok. gotta hurry. Bye." she bid goodbye.

I waited for her arrival as well as the news about Frederick.

I wasn't even hurt. But he was severely hurt.

And I was truly guilty about it.

After 17 minutes, Summer arrived creases etched on her forehead.

"What happened?" she asked.

"after we bid goodbyes we talked Frederick saw the car coming and pushed me but he was thrown towards the wall and passed out after he was laid on a stretcher. And I'm worried and guilty." I explained her what happened.

"Guilty?"

"Yeah."

"It's not your fault Reese. It's the driver's fault." Summer explained to me.

Shit the driver.

"Don't worry the driver was in the jail. The court still deciding how many years he'll be inside the jail." Summer told me.

"You took care of it? Thank you." I thanked her.

"And I also you each of your parents. They'll come here." Summer continued.

"Thank you so much Summer. You're a great help." I thanked her again.

I broke down again and hugged her. She patted my back.

"What happened?" a familiar voice boomed down the hallway.

Dad.

"Dad!" I ran towards him. Hugging him for dear life.

"What happened dear?" He asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I replied.

"It's okay, I understand."

I let them sit down by the chairs. Me pacing.

"Calm down sweetie." Aunt Sussana, Frederick's mother told me.

I breathed deeply.

I sat down with them.

We're nearly 2 hours waiting in here.

Suddenly, the emergency room door opened and revealed a doctor.

" Mr. and Mrs. Anderson?" The doctor called out.

Aunt Sussana and Uncle Ben stood up, walking towards the doctor.

"How's our son doing?" Uncle Ben said calmly. But deep down, I know he's dreading.

The doctor gave them a grave look.

"I'm sorry but you son didn't survive the severe hemorrhage inside his head. Too much blood dripped out his body and resulted into multiple organ failure." The doctor explained.

Then it hit me.

Frederick...

Died.
