There's a saying that "forgive and forget" but do we really forget after we forgive? For some of us may say yes! Some say no! But most important is that you truly forgive those people who hurt or hate you and the lesson that you get from that situation.
Forgiving is not an easy task especially if we really hurt and hate that person. God knows that so we should ask God to help us to forgive not only the one who hurt us but ourselves as well. Forgiveness is from the Lord.
"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." - [Colossians 3:13 NIV]
" If you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." - [Mark 11: 25]
How can we say that we love God if we hate each other? (1 John 4:20)
Love and forgiveness cannot be separated. Because God loves us so much, He wants us to love and forgive one another."...Forgive and you will be forgiven" - [Luke 6:37 NIV] and the best feeling afterwards - love, joy and peace.
