Chloe POV
What was that? I said sorry? I don't say sorry. This girl drives me so crazy. I go over to the black window and look inside the other room. I can see Beca tied sitting on a chair. She still looks good. I don't understand this. Her hair falls perfectly and she didn't even had the chance to make it. Her face is a bit pale, but I can't forget this dark blue eyes. God. Stop this! I shake my head and try to focus on Aubrey again. I can hear them talking.
"So, do you know why you are here?"
Aubrey says with sarcasm in her voice.
"If you would tell me, I would."
"Come one, think a bit!"
"I have no worth for you. I have nothing. I am no one special."
"Maybe not you, but your brother."
"My brother?"
"Yes. He got money and power. I could need his help."
"So why I am here then?"
"We couldn't find him. Sad story. So you have to help us."
"No way. Even if I would help you, i haven't heard from him for quite some time."
"You know where he is and when you won't tell us, we have to make him come to us and I am pretty sure you don't want this."
"I don't!"
"You do. One last time, okay? Tell me where your brother is."
"No. "
Why she is so stubborn? I wish she wasn't that would save her of much pain. I see Blake coming in. As I see the bucket I know what they will do. Please say something Beca! Aubrey covers her eyes with a towel. Than she nods and Blake pours the water over her face. She winces as the water touches her face.
"Do you want to tell me something?"
Aubrey asks with a smile on her lips.
"No."
In this moment Blake pours the next bucket over Becas face. She trys to free herself, but of course she hasn't got a chance. Blake goes on with one bucket after the other. She winces and trys to go away, but she can't. She gasps and coughs, but every time there comes more water over her. Suddenly she stops moving. Shit! Aubrey is going way too far now. I run into the room.
"It's enough! You will kill her like this!"
Aubrey gives me a confused look.
"Chloe, we've done this a hundred times and no one died."
"It's enough for today. Her body is at the limit. She is powerless. I think it's enough."
"She is fine!"
"No she isn't. Aubrey, you said she is mine and now I say it's enough. You shouldn't do this! She is mine. You promised me!"
She seems angry, but now there is a small smile creeping through her face.
"Well, I did. You're right. You will go on."
"What? No!"
"Yes honey, come over."
"Aubrey, can't you see? She can't handle this. It is enough. It is too much for a single day! Look at her leg and now you're drowning her, but she won't die. Stop it!"
"What happened to her leg?"
"Ohhh, you can ask Blake!"
I scream at her and she turns around looking at Blake.
"Bring her away, Chloe!"
Without a word she leaves the room, pulling Blake outside. I run over to Beca and take the towel away. She is really pale and her lips are blue. What have they done to her? I shouldn't think like this. It's normal, I will do it, too. I already did it. But Beca has done nothing.
"Come on."
I say gently as I set her free. She slowly stands up and I support her while walking. I feel her cold body shaking. She's so helpless right now. But now I have the chance to help her. Aubrey and Blake will be busy for some time and the others don't care.
"We will get you something for the wounds and some warm clothes."
I guide her to one of the emergency rooms and sit her down on the lounger. Then I go over and take disinfectant and bandages. I want to put the disinfectant on her wounds and just realize that she is still wearing no pants. I will give her some when we're finished here. I slowly put the disinfectant on the wound. Her legs are so smoothe and beautiful. I don't know why but they're fascinating me. At least I put the bandages over the wounds. Than I take her with me to my room. I search for an old pair of sweatpants and finally find one in the corner of my wardrobe. I give it to her and she puts them on.
"Thank you."
Her voice is broken and shaking.
"Come on. I have to bring you back."
I grab her hand and bring her into the room next to mine. It's one of the upgrade rooms. It has got light and a normal bed.
"You can sleep here tonight."
She quietly stands there, but gives me a thankful view. With that I leave and close the door. Did I really did this? If she's my last test, I will pass it. Aubrey will kill me. I have no choice, but I also have no chance. I can't hurt Beca that much. She's so defenseless against us. She has done nothing and she makes me believe that she doesn't know where her brother could be. Or she's just a great actress. I need to pull myself together!
