Unedited/::::::::/ updates will come soon!!
Sometimes I wish life would slow down, because if i had time to look at every sunset every night, I sure as hell would.
My life had been pushing my buttons nonstop and I could never get a dose of time to myself. The stress was really starting to get to me. Work, Nash, family, and school was going so fast even The Flash couldn't see it
It was really starting to take a toll on Nash and I. I was really worried. We had ended things yesterday on bad terms lately and it was eating at my head for not going and smoothing things over. I'm hoping he wants to patch things up. Hopefully the feeling is mutual.
I should probably go and talk to him. At least try to call.
I grabbed my phone from my desk drawer and dialed his number. I knew it by heart. We've been through 2 years, strong as hell. Just when things are starting to go well, things start falling apart.
3 rings
"Nash?" I asked
"Rae, God I'm sorry. Things got out of hand yesterday. You should know th-"
"Hey, listen. Things were bad yesterday, yeah we both know that. Things with Mom and work have not mixed very well. I shouldn't have yelled and I'm sure the blame is on my back, not just yours. I'm sorry."
"Agreed. Why don't we meet up after work is over?" He agreed
"That would be great. I'll meet you at the coffee shop?" I asked
"At 5, don't be late."
"Wouldn't dream of it" I smiled
He hung up and I pulled the phone away from my ear.
Good. Things are gonna be back to normal.
I knew a phone call would be a good idea.

My mood enhances my work speed so I'm done with all my files by 4:30.
15 minutes ahead of normal.
I hum to myself as I log out of my computer and lock my office door.
"Who's a happy camper?" A low voice says behind me. My employee who works in sales, Brandy.
"I know it's unusual that I'm happy, but it's Friday and I've patched things up with Nash. Double the happiness." I cheer
"Next Saturday is a holiday so you work tomorrow, but not next Saturday." He says.
"Are you trying to spoil my mood?" I ask
"Possibly. It's only fair that we should all be sad."
"Well, I'm the boss so if I'm sad then next Saturday we can all come in" I smile sarcastically
His smirk turns into a frown and drops his shoulders," Continue your humming."
I laugh,"Sure thing."
I hum The Office theme song music as I close the door behind me and unlock my car.
I plug in my aux cord and set my things in the passenger seat.
Prime time of my day....going home:)

I sing softly to Spotify playlists and drive to the coffee shop in the town square. I see Nash's car already parked in the small lot in the back. I park next to him, get out and lock my car.
The cold air nips at my neck as I pull my leather jacket tighter.
I open the door and the bell above my head jungles erratically.
I see Nash sitting at a corner booth, with a book in his hands, as usual. I walk up to him, butterflies eruption in my stomach.
I don't want to mess this up. I really hope we can just get along and not argue. It always ends badly.
He looks up from his book and smiles at me.
"I've missed you," he hums.
I smile,"I've missed you too."

We talk about work, school, and about us. It went extremely well; so well we ended up going back to Nash's house.
It had been 2 months since I had been at his house. I smile as I remember old times in this apartment. I can remember our first kiss on the kitchen counter, our first dinner with his parents in the living room, both of our first times in the bedroom, and our second time on the couch. Tears brim my eyes as I remember key moments of our relationship walking into the living room.
"I can feel the memories," I sniffle, containing my tears.
"You remember our first time?" Nash asks.
I laugh,"Of course, the sunset shining in as we were awkwardly trying to..yeah. Yeah I do."
He grins,"Who the hell makes love at like 4:30 in the afternoon? God, we were so odd."
I smile,"We still are."
We laugh about other things that happened in this apartment, and dream about the things that are soon to come. We talk so long, the sunset appears.
"Wanna recreate our first time?" He asks.
I grin,"Why not?"
