How's it been?
Since you left,
of course. The skies have been greyer.
Is it the same,
on the other side?Quite frankly, I'm not sure
if you made it into Heaven
or Hell. The scene has been more depressed.
My nights are always in a way,
quieter without your voice. The stars have been brighter.
You promised me you'd tend to them,
and help create dozens more.Without you life lost its touch.
That extra magic you gave things,
is all gone. Was the pain simply that much?
I mean,
you said you'd stick around. My music has been turned up louder.
Funny how I can feel it now,
is that what you felt all along? My clothes have gotten looser.
I'm just to preoccupied with wondering
what set you over the edge.Don't worry for me wherever you are.
I'll take care of your job on Earth,
while you comfort the other lost souls.I'll make sure to get better.
I'll keep others away,
from the sickening madness.
