Mitch's P.O.V
"thanks man." i say and finish swallowing. then Jamie takes the water and takes a sip.
"wow stealing my water now? you want some pills?" i ask her and laugh.
"i was thirsty." Jamie says and looks at me and laughs.
"Well i need to go and practice." i say and stand up.
"practice what?" i ask and try to stand up but Jamie sits back down.
"i need to practice my singing and dancing for school silly." Jamie says and stands up.
"Jamie that is 2 more months away." Haylee says and looks at me.
"so you don't know how hard it is to sing and dance. you need to practice it constantly." Jamie says and looks at me.
"well i am coming then." I say and stand up slowly Jamie comes and helps me.
"i am going upstairs so i don't bug anyone." Jamie says and stops me.
"that's fine. i don't mind i will Skype my mom and dad anyways. while you sing and dance i will Skype." i say and look at her.
"sure that's fine." Jamie says and looks worried.
"don't worry." i say and take her hand and then walk up the stairs slowly and i use jeromes laptop since mine is at the other house.
"you don't have to rush." Jamie says and looks at me.
"i know i am fine it just hurts sometimes. not all the time." i say and finally get up the stairs.
"i will be back i am going to get some water so i can make my voice sound better i don't want to be able not to talk." Jamie says and runs down the stairs.
"ok." i say and look into my room still like it is. the bed made and its clean i always keep my things clean. i turn on jeromes laptop and log into Skype.
Text message
hey mom i am going to Skype you can you make sure dad is there i want to show you someone.
alright hun we will be ready.
i am on jeromes laptop. mine is at the old house.
ok no problem i just am going to get your dad.
"i am back." Jamie says and grabs her phone out of her pocket and turns it on then she puts some music on and starts tapping her foot she does some warm ups for her voice and i hit call.
"ohhh." Jamie sings and i smile. watching her as i hear the Skype being answered i go and sit on the bed and start talking.
"hi mom. hi dad." i say and smile and look at them both.
"you look different hun is everything ok?" my mom asks.
"yeah well i forgot to tell you but i had cancer. but listen its not a big deal they got it all out. they did minor surgery and i am all fine now." i say and i see Jamie dancing well stretching. i understand why she does that so she doesn't pull a muscle.
"oh Mitch. are you sure you are ok. cancer is big even though its all gone." my mom says worried. Jamie plays a song and my mom looks at me weird.
"who is that singing in the back round that's a girl. mitch do you have a girlfriend?" my mom asks and i smile.
"she is more than a girlfriend to me." i say and turn the laptop around and Jamie is not even noticed that my parents are watching her dance and sing.
