He came up to me in the halls. We walked around silently in the halls together just not saying anything just staring at each other and when we did, we knew exactly what we were saying without having to even make a sound.

All during class we kept looking at each other. We didn't speak at all until 3 days later he came up to me.

"Look, I know you wanted me to go and I understand that but I had to stay, I love you too much to ever leave you," He tried to convince

I completely ignored the topic because I didn't like pointing fingers on why he didn't go.

"Where did you go when I came over a few days ago?" I asked

"I had to meet with someone,"

"With who?"

"Look, I don't want to talk about this right now, okay?"

"Why not?"

"I don't feel comfortable telling you in front of all of these people,"

"Fine, come to my house after school, okay?"

"Okay,"

When he came over I didn't know what to say but I felt like interrogating him for some reason. He seemed so guilty and to innocent at the same time, I didn't know what to do.

"Look, I know you're going to interrogate me or something but let me tell you this first...I love you. No matter what happens," he pleaded.

This went from a laughing matter to very serious. Why was he talking about that? Is his life at risk or something? What's going on?

"Where did you go?" was of course the first question that pooped into my head.

"I went to Taylor's house to-"

"You went to my best friends house and did what?!? You thought you could get away from me like that?"

"No, of course I wouldn't cheat on you, I love you. Think about all of the good times we had together. That wasn't fake. I went to her house to talk about you. We wanted to give you a big surprise,"

"Why couldn't you say that in front of people at school?"

He hesitated

"I just wanted to make sure we were alone so I could do this,"

He leaned in and we kissed. He also slipped something into my pocket. I knew he was hiding something, but I didn't want to bring it up now.

I stumble up the stairs to my room. I look for a sign. Anything. Anything that means he loves me.

A locket!

I ran down the stairs and tripped out the door.

I had to get to his house. Right now. No time to waste. This was important.

When I got there I climbed into his window and saw him in his bedroom.

With Taylor.

Laying together..
