INTRODUCTION

My name is Zicora Williams I have really short hair and brown eyes When i was 15, my aunt got me a spot on an awesome comedy TV show back here in Lagos (Nigeria). It was absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me, I was playing an extra , wasn't much but it was awesome. I had a major crush on one of the actors, his name was Joseph and he was 21, but paying a 15 yr old He was so tall and unbearably cute.

Then one day on set, i was just sitting and listening to 'La Da Dee' by Cody Simpson I absolutely loved that song and didn't even realize I had been singing it until someone tapped me on my shoulder and said ''Hey, quiet on set remember,'' I turned around knowing exactly who that voice belonged to, Joseph, and noticed almost everyone was looking at me. ''Sorry'' I said and kept on listening to the song quietly this time. It was the first time he ever talked to me and i couldn't help but replay the moment in my head.

After shooting, I was in one of the classes packing my stuff and listening to ''My Crush'' by China Anne McClain when ironically my crush walked in and said ''Nice voice by the way.'' ''Th-thanks.'' I managed to say. Then Daniel Okocha came in, he played the older brother on the show. I started leaving when he (Daniel) said, ''I heard you singing on set today and think you have a really nice voice'' I turned around replying ''Thank you sir'' as politely as i could. ''I think you have real potential and I have a friend who is in the music business. You know Don Jazzy right?'' he asked taking a seat. Of course I did he was pretty much the biggest music producer in the country. ''Yes sir.''I answered shyly, completely shocked by what was happening here. ''Well, thats amazing because he's going to be on set tomorrow and I was wondering maybe of you would like to meet him and perform for him'' Fireworks were going off in my head and I couldn't help but smile like crazy.

''I would absolutely love to sir, this is amazing'' I said with happy tears filling up at the back of my eyes. ''I wouldn't be surprised to see your face all over billboards and magazines'' This time it was Joseph who talked and I could already feel my face getting hotter.

And that was how it all started. The next day I performed 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars for Don Jazzy and I got a record deal. A year later I was going to award shows, meeting celebrities and one day I met Usher who signed me to his label. Life was going swell. I had grown out my hair and it had gone from really really low mini afro to really long with a purple streak in it, since it was my favorite color. I moved from my home in Lagos, Nigeria to Atlanta, USA. I was teen pop sensation Izzi and I had my name and face all over TV, magazines and the Internet, turns out Joseph's prediction was real just on a wider scale in real life.

Honestly, my dreams had come true and i couldn't have asked for anything more.

Okay so this is my first book ever and I'm really hoping its good. Just like Izzi, I'm from Africa too just that I'm still here unlike her. I would really love to hear your comments.
