It was a regular day just like any other and I was at the studio recording a few songs. I was annoyed with those stupid green piggies mocking me on my phone as i played Angry Birds and almost didn't notice my manager Sarah as she walked in. ''Zi, guess what?'' she asks standing right in front of me. ''Shoot, kinda busy right now'' I say trying to ignore her and kill some stupid pigs. ''You're doing a concert in New York next month'' she says sounding annoyed, probably because of the fact that I haven't raised my head to look at her. ''Thats great Sarah, cant wait to be in New Jersey then.'' I say still staring at my screen. ''New York.'' She corrects me. ''Yh, yh'' I say not paying much attention. ''You're gonna get brainwashed just staring at your phone all day Zi.'' She says as she walks towards the door. ''One more thing, I need you to finish that song you've been working on so maybe you could perform it at the concert.'' I nearly drop my phone not because of what she just said but because I can see the pigs wagging their stupid pink tongues at me. Maybe I have been staring at this screen for too long. ''Sarah, you know how hard I've been working on that song, I'm not just feeling the vibe, ya know? I mean, i'm not even halfway yet.'' I finally process what she told me as I look at her and pout. ''Yh, I know, no pressure though.'' she says as she walks out shutting the door behind her. ''Yh, no pressure'' I say repeating her words to myself.

3 days later, I'm home working on the last verse of the song when my phone buzzes, nearly falling off the bed. I look at the screen and that little message icon appears. Its from Sarah.

Zi, the auditions for backup dancers is about to begin, where are you?

''Just great'' I say to myself as I climb off the bed. Today was supposed to be a lazy day and how the heck did I let the auditions slip past my mind. I put on my dark skinny jeans, blue tank top and purple hoodie. Lacing up my sneakers I grab my phone and shove it in my pocket. Hopping into my bumblebee from transformers I cant help but smile at the vanilla scent that fills my car. I look at my watch noticing I have only 10 mins till the auditions start.

''Where have you been you're already 15 mins late'' Sarah practically growls as I walk into the dance studio. I simply shrug my shoulders and try to hide my tub of strawberry flavored froyo behind my back ''Okay everyone, lets get this show on the road'' She says as I take a seat behind a small black table shoving my yogurt under it. Cody, my dance instructor hands me a clipboard with a list of all the kids names. ''Here goes nothing.'' I say to myself as the music starts.

Its been 3 hours already and a lot of these guys have great potential. I feel sad because about 30 people showed up and we only need 10 people. Later that night we [We including Me, Sarah, Cody and Emily my personal trainer] all get together at my place to call and congratulate them. I almost cry myself as one of the girls cries on the other end, shes from Africa too and I am so happy to help make her dream come true. Everyone leaves at around 1 am and I immediately go upstairs and plop down on my bed too tired to take a shower but that doesn't matter as I drift off into sleep.
