Slowly Slipping..

Naomi's Pov
"Mum, can we go get something real to eat? This hospital food makes me sick!" I mutter to my mum, as I clench my stomach.
"Yes! This food is horrible," My mum tells me, putting emphasis on the word 'is'.
I fist-pump the air, then climb off of the rickety old hospital bed. I slip on my boots, and jacket, then walk over to the door.
My mum slips on her shoes too, then walks over to the door aswell. She swings open the door, as we walk out, me in front of her.
We start walking down the hospital hallway. My boots scraping the tiled floors since I'm dragging my feet.
We push through the hallway doors, and now we're in the waiting room. My mum walks up to the receptionists desk, and tells her that we're going out to eat, as the lady at the desk nods.
We then walk through the waiting room, and out of the hospital door. The warm spring air hitting my body as I strech. The fresh, not disease ridden air blowing through my red curls.
"It's nice out here." I tell my mum, as we wait for a mini van to drive so we can cross the street.
"I know. Today's weather is finally perfect." My mum says, as she holds my hand so we can cross the street.
"Thank Jesus." I laugh, as we reach the parking lot.
My mum scans the area, before finding her car. We then rush over to it, as my mum unlocks the doors. We hop in.
The car starts, and my mum pulls out of the lot. I fasten my seatbelt, then turn the radio volume up.
'Starships' By Nicki Minaj comes on. I burst out the lyrics, my mum laughs.
My mum turns the volume down, but loud enough so we can still hear the song. "What do you wanna eat?"
I think for a moment, before responding.
"I kind of want Starbucks. I know its not food, but I need me some Starbucks mum!" I smile, as I pat my stomach.
"Starbucks? Thats it? You could get Starbucks and something else, but lets get food first." My mum says.
"Okay, thanks mum." I say, as I turn the volume back up, but the song is over, so now one of those annoying commercial thing's are playing.

We decide on Burger King. It's still food, plus, who doesn't like burgers and fries?
We go through the drive through, and order, but we already got our food, so we're on our way to Starbucks.
I sneak a fry, because my mum is one of those mum's who don't want you eating in the car.
Finally, a song comes back on. That song is 'One More Night' by Maroon 5.
I love Maroon 5, so I begin singing along.
We then reach Starbucks. My mum pulls into a parking space, and turns the car off, as we hop out.
She locks it, then we run into Starbucks.
There wasn't a line, everyone was either sitting and drinking, or leaving.
My mum, and I rush to the cash register.
"Hello, welcome to Starbucks, how may I help you?" A girl who looks like she's in her late teens asks us, a smile plastered onto her face.
"Hey, can I get two Vanilla Bean Crème frappé's?" My mum asks.
The girl smiles, and nods, then begins making our drinks.
As we wait, I look around. Sweet smells filling my nose. Oh how much I've missed you, Starbucks.
"And here ya go! That'll be five-fifty." She tells us, as my mum scrambles through her purse for the money.
My mum hands the money to her, as we pick up our drinks.
"Bye, come again!" The girl yells, as my mum nods. We walk out of Starbucks, and towards the car.
My mum unlocks the doors, and we climb in.

We're in my retarded hospital room. Jesus I hate this place.
"Mum, I'm gonna go to the loo, I'll be right back," I tell my mum, as I get off of the bed, and leave the room.
I know there's a loo in the hospital room, but I dont really have to go, I just want to get out of that boring room.
Wait- there's a T.V
I turn back around, and begin walking towards the room, but someone grabs me.
I try to scream.
He holds my waist, as he covers my mouth, and rushes through the emergency back exit.
I didn't even finish my Starbucks.
