Reality Struck

Belle's Pov
I wake up with shooting pains throbbing in my stomach. I'm only five months, so this really startles me.
The doctor had warned me about ligament or uterine pains due to my uterus stretching to make more room for the baby, but I need reassurance.
I reach over for my phone, but it lands on the floor, signaling that I'd have to get up.
I groan, ignoring the pain for a second, until making a second dive for it again, but miserably fail, as I begin leaning back again.
A tear escapes my eyes, and I lean back down.
I wish Niall was here with me, he'd make me feel safe. I thought. This baby means nothing to him.
If you quickly grab your phone, it'll be all over. Just call the boys.
I listen to my subconscious, and quickly reach over for the phone again, lifting off of the bed for a split second, until finding the smooth texture of the black iPhone.
Happy with myself, I resign back to my laying position, quickly ringing Zayn's number.

It felt as if hours had passed knowing the boys took so long to get here.
"Can you stand up?" Louis asks, smoothing the palm of his hand against my bare stomach.
I just shake my head, in too much pain to speak.
"I guess we'll have to call her doctor over here then." Harry says, taking Belle's phone into his hand, and stepping away from my screams by going downstairs.
"What does it feel like? Contractions?" Louis asks, placing his ear to the right side of my stomach.
"She's only five months, I'm pretty sure it isn't contractions." Liam laughs, standing up from his kneeling position on the floor.
I swallow, feeling another sharp pain in my stomach, before gaining the ability to speak.
"Its some sort of sharp pain in my lower stomach." I say, my voice raspy.
The boys take a brief moment to look at each other as if they're communicating through stares.
"The doctor is coming, but he told me to check her cervix." Harry's voice echoes, as he appears from downstairs.
"Check my cervix?" I ask, feeling uneasy by the doctors request. "But I'm not in labor, I'm not contracting?"
"His orders." Harry says, walking over to me.
"Harry-" I object, but he stops me.
"Belle, I have too, it's just as awkward for me as it is for you."
"Let Louis do it." Zayn says. "His mum knows her nursing stuff, I'm pretty sure Louis knows a little, too."
I look at Louis, feeling a little more comfortable.
"Oh alright, we might as well get this over with, yeah?" Louis smiles at me, kneeling in front of me on the bed.
"I'm trusting you." I sigh, looking at him, as if he's a murderer.
He nods.

"Well, it was a small miscarriage scare, but this is something we can deal with." The doctor smiles, standing beside my bed.
I nod, waiting for him to continue.
"The baby is breech. We'll have to schedule a c-section instead of natural vaginal birth." The doctor says.
