Chapter Fourteen -Skin And Bones

The next day I woke up feeling absolutely horrible. I turned over on the bed and found nobody in my room. They must be in the guy's room. I stumbled out of bed and nearly fell over. My head was spinning and feels like I've been hit in the head with a brick. I'm also freezing cold, I looked around the room and spotted Duff's flannel. I put it on as well as a pair of fuzzy socks, because who doesn't like fuzzy socks?

I walked down the hall and saw the guy's door opened slightly and pushed it open. The guys were sitting around on the floor talking. Eleanor turned around and saw me, she smiled but then frowned.

"Taylor, are you okay? You don't look so good."

Everyone turned to look at me.

"Fine, I'm fine. I just don't feel too good that's all." I coughed out.

"Aww, my little Tay Tay doesn't feel good," Duff smirked. "Come here doll."

I walked over to him and slumped down on the floor next to him and put my head in his lap. He ruffled my hair and then touched my forehead with the back of his hand.

"Oh shit, that doesn't feel right." He pulled his hand away.

"What?" I mumbled and looked up to meet his eyes.

"I think you have a fever. Do we have a thermometer?" Duff looked up at Axl.

"Doubt it, but we'll look around." Axl said getting up.

The rest of the guys followed as well as Eleanor. They were tearing the room apart looking for a thermometer. Duff stayed next to me the whole time. Even though I had a fever I was freezing. I curled up next to Duff and shivered.

"Are you cold?" Duff asked.

"A-a little." I said through chattering teeth.

He grabbed a blanket off from the bed and wrapped it around me and then wrapped his arms around me. I nuzzled my face into his chest and he kissed the top of my head.

"FOUND IT!" Slash yelled sticking the thermometer in the air.

"Bring it here!" Duff said motioning for him to come closer.

Slash handed Duff the thermometer.

"Okay, open up." Duff said.

I lifted my head up and put the thermometer in my mouth.

"How long do we wait for it to work?" Slash asked.

"Usually like a minute." Izzy spoke up

After waiting, I took it out of my mouth and looked at it.

"101 degrees." Duff said taking the thermometer out of my hands.

"Shit thats pretty high." Izzy sighed.

"Don't worry, we'll take good care of ya!" Steven smiled, jumping off the bed and hugging me.

"Thank you Steven, I love you." I giggled.

"No problem, and I love ya too Tay." He smiled.

"What about me?" Duff whined.

"I love you too Duffy." I smiled and turned to face him.

"I love you too." He smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"Aww Duffykinz is in love." Slash laughed.

"Why would you give me such an awful name?" Duff laughed.

"Well anyways, we should go get some stuff for Taylor." Izzy said and stood up.

"Yeah you guys go, I'll stay with her." Eleanor smiled
