Tonight would be a very exciting night that would change their lives forever. It turned out that sheep were natural flyers so everything was very easy. Maybe their prehistoric ancestors used to fly? Shane was very pleased with this outcome.
"Lets go guys" he said and they all started to move next to him. The sheep's flying skillz had become so strong that they didn't need to flap their sheep legs that much.

They then all started ascending into the dark night sky. The wind ruffled through their thick fur/feathers and the sheep's pink skin. The air grew thinner and colder the higher they climbed but no one minded. The stars seemed closer with every passing second which made Drew's heartbeat quicken. They were almost there!

"Could we go into space?" a sheep asked.
"Not tonight. The clouds are calling to us" Laurence said.
And sure they were. A big white cloud glowed in the darkness, beckoning them.
"We'll stop there. That's the Party Cloud" Shane said.
"Party Cloud?" Drew said.
"You'll see" smirked Shane.

They crash landed on the humongous cloud because they hadn't practiced landing. But it was fine because the cloud was soft. They all tumbled out in all directions doing rolly pollys except for the 3 experts who landed on their feet.

They looked around them and gaped at the sights. At the edge you could see the beautiful world below. The city lights flickering and the ponds and lakes shimmering. The tiny trees and houses looked like toys and any creatures that were down there were too small to see.

The cloud itself was a warm grayish white colour as it reflected off the moon and a disco ball was propped up in the middle. A soundesk and speakers were wedged snugly into a little dip in the cloud and the place looked like heaven.
"So this is what you mean by party!" Drew said, looking around rapidly.
"Yes" said Kier.
"So is that what we're doing?"
"Of course. This was my plan. I've got food and everything" Laurence said.
Shane went and opened up a hole in the cloud and brought out lots of alcoholic drinks, making Kiers eyes light up.
"That's nice and all but how will it work?"
"Just wait and see... Now let's go have a great time!!" Kier said, grabbing a bottle and heading over to the big DJ desk. Soon she was DJ Kier.

She put on some funky tunes and turned up the volume till everyones ears were thumping. Laurence sorted the lights so they shone different colours and did all the stuff you see at parties. The lights reflected off the other clouds nearby which lit up the whole sky with rainbow colours.

Shane took his place at the bar handing out the fancy drinks and chatting up the lady sheep. He was very charming.

The sheep were very uneasy. Too much bright. Too much colour. Too much happy. They had never seen anything like it and didn't know how to respond...

But soon Kiers groovy beats took a hold, sounding too good to resist. They started off by foot tapping, then swaying, and then the sheep began partying! They were unsure at first what was happening to them but soon they were loving it. They were doing the Harlem Shake, Macarena, all sorts of dances. The disco was so good that they actually began enjoying themselves for once.

"This is great!!!" a sheep flung herself in the air.
"WOOOOAAHH!!!" a sheep crowd surfed, being tossed around.
"I've never ever had this much fun!" another sheep said while twerking some dirty moves.
"Shane's drinks are bae" staggered a 4th. He had already had too much to drink.

Drew was the star of the show. He danced like a pro and stole the lime light. He had everyone going.
"La la la la la" Drew sang along to Kiers tunes, doing some style of Sheep Break dancing.
"This is ma jam" a sheep came over.
"Sure is"
"Have you seen Shane lately? That Owls got style!"
"Shane....." Drews voice drifted off. He had forgotten all about his newly found crush. It had happened the minute he saw him. He just fell for the little owl in the blink of an eye.
"What?" said the sheep.
"Thanks for reminding me" and off Drew ran.

Drew saw Shane at the bar, cleaning out a champagne glass. He looked so perfect. Drew gulped and approached him, sitting down in a chair and acting as cool as possible.
"Hello" Drew said.
"Hello" Shane replied.
"Thank you for this. It's brilliant!"
"Oh it's nothing. Wanna drink?"
"Yeah sure" and Drew said he wanted the classic Guinness. So Shane got him it.

They were talking for a while when a romantic song came on. The sheep started pairing off and Drew realised he needed a partner.
"Do you want a dance with me?" Drew asked the owl.
Shane considered this for a bit then said "Yes"

So Drew and Shane started dancing, moving from side to side, the music getting more and more intense. They both became engrossed in each other, lost in their own little world. Drew stared at Shanes loving big eyes, and was put under a trance by their pure beauty. His tossled feathers and hooked beak made Drew find it really hard to restrain himself. Eventually, after biting down his lip to stop himself, he broke.
Shane was met with a big kiss on the lips by Drew. Drew came down with such force that Shane stumbled back slightly, his breath taken away.
"I'm so so sorry. I couldn't help myself" Drew stuttered.
"I never knew you felt the same away about me" Shane said, looking at Drew, eyes as wide as they could go.
"What?"
"Wait. What did I just say?"
"What happened?"
"Oh dear"
"This is awkward....." they stood in silence for what seemed like ages, still holding each other in a dancing position. Then it was Shanes turn. He started kissing Drew, and Drew started kissing him back. It felt so right, like they connected so well that it was surely meant to be. They're passion grew stronger for each other and they ended up in falling over. Drew, lying on the ground, parted part of the white cloud so they could see the world below.
"Its so beautiful..." Shane snuggled into Drew.
"Just like you" Drew said to Shane.
"Drew...."
"Yes?"
"Doesn't matter"
"Shane..."
"Yes?"
"Will you be my man?"
"Of course! I was about to ask you the same thing"
And so now it was settled. Drew and Shane were now an item. They would be known as 'The Timids'.
