For the majority of the time Green Day has been around, it's only been Billie, Mike, and Tré. But about 13 years ago, Jason White, an old friend of Billie's, got up on stage and played an acoustic show with them (which is some good shit, by the way). He started touring with them ever since.
Then, in 2012, everyone decided it was time he became an actual member of the band. So he did! And everyone's happy! EXECPT:
Some people either still don't know he exists, or just will not acknowledge him as an actual member of the band.
This kinda pisses me off a lot. He is the guitarist, too. He backs Billie up when he wants to do random shit on stage, so the song isn't just drums and bass.
Not only that, but he's a great person, too! He has a cute lil wife and kid, he's a generally nice person, he is so smol, and he is really fucking talented.
I don't really believe in the whole "Fake Fan!!!1!!" thing, but if you don't treat Jason as a legitimate member of Green Day, you better square the fuck up, pal.
