Chapter 23

When Harry clicked on Louis' video, he wasn't really expecting anything big.

It was a surpise when he scrolled down the youtube home page and saw his boyfriend on a thumbnail he had never seen before. He was very happy to see that Louis was finally active on youtube again, and had posted a new video, therefore just hearing his voice in the first second made his heart race and butterflies go alive in his tummy.

Because of his impatience, he hadn't read the big revealing title. It was when he scrolled up from the comment section he remembered. His eyes finally catched on to the big letters he had forgotten to read earlier, his eyes widening instantly. Let's just say, it was so shocking that it made his heart skip two beats, not just one.

"I'm so in love with you."

Harry could barely think before Louis started talking in the video under, and gosh... what a beautiful voice he had. Such a beautiful voice.

"I've never felt love in my life."

"I've never felt love, and there are so many reasons for that. My parents were and are never there for me, I had no friends and I sucked at school."

"He never told me that," Harry frowned, his pinky finger trailing the outline of Louis' face on the screen. "You should've told me."

Louis continued, though, sighing deeply. "But then, he came."

"He came into my life with the brightest green eyes and the most adorable smile. His soothing words and the way his hand wipes away the tears from my eyes. His worried expression whenever he sees my sad eyes, and the way he kisses my lips everytime I say something slightly-"

Louis chocked on his words, staring into the camera with an embarassed smile. There were small tears running down his rosy cheeks, and everytime he tried to wipe them away, he only cried more.

Babybabybabybaby was the only word repeating itself a million times in Harry's head. He wanted to cuddle Louis and kiss his pretty thin lips and his cheekbones, and fuck, he really wasn't enjoying how far away Louis was.

"Love... is an amazing thing."

"It messes with your head, makes it hard to concentrate, also makes you whinier and possibly more annoying to the people that surround themselves around you everyday. It makes you cry. Most importantly, it makes you laugh. Meaning... it definitely makes you happy."

Louis quickly wipied away the wetness from around his eyes with a giggle.

"Look at me! Crying because I'm hopelessly in love with someone who is beautiful and wonderfully treats me like I've always wanted to be treated."

Harry couldn't breathe. He couldn't fucking breathe.

"I'm so in love."

The video ended abruptly, without a further explanation, that left Harry speechless and silent for who knows how many minutes.

"I love you too," Harry uttered, at the same time trying to calm his breathing. The corners of his lips were slowly quirking upwards, and his hands were constantly pulling at his hair in disbelief. "My god, help me."

The feeling of being on cloud nine was so clear by his face that if a sad stranger walked by, they would right at that moment become elated by just looking at him. He began to cry even, groaning at how emotional he was and tried to pathetically wipe away the happy tears, but it was useless. He only began crying more, and this time he just let them fall as he laughed in bliss and joy.
