Prim's side of the story

I slowly drift off to sleep only to brought ack into another horrible dream....

Dream:

And the tributes for the 74th annual hunger games is............ KATNISS EVERDEEN and GALE HAWTHORNE!!!!!!!

I screamed and tried to run to the stage to do anything beg or to just see Katniss but my friend pulled me back and held onto to me

while i kicked, punched, and screamed but she held on to me. I finally just gave up and sobbed into my friends shoulder. What would i

do Katniss was my sister i couldn't imagine life without her!!!! Even though she is strong she couldn't kill a younger tribute and she

defiantly could not kill Gale!!!!!! And then there was Gale what would we do without him him he always gives our family left over

food and he protects us in whatever way he can, he is practically my older brother!!

Suddenly i wake up in a pool of sweat and my eyes feel swollen from crying.

I feel arms wrap around and i see Katniss carrying me to my bed she puts me down and puts my head in her lap.

"Shhhhh..... Prim......shhhhhh... its ok its your first year your not gonna be chosen!" Katniss says in a hushed tone

"I know Kat but what if its you???" I reply

"Well if it is your just gonna have to be strong and trust that I can survive on my own"Kat whispers

"I know but what will happen to me and mommy your the one who provides food for us ans what if mommy shuts her self out again!!!!!"

I cried "Kat i am only 11 i cant provide for me and mommy too!!!!!!!!!"

"Honey, Prim, dont cry what do you think i will do leave you and mom by yourself!!!! I have a plan Gale will come over at least once a

day to give you food and make sure your ok! she says "Prim i have to leave now but i will be back before the reaping! I love you!"

Shes walks out the door and i hear her scream at my cat, buttercup" I will still cook you, you know!!!!!!!"
