"Score!!" Castle yells as the pen lands in Beckett's empty coffee cup. He does a little victory dance in his chair in its designated spot, next to Beckett's desk. Castle also receives a glare from Beckett as she walks back to her desk with a freshly brewed coffee.

"Can't you find something else to do Castle?" Beckett asks as she puts her coffee behind her monitor, safe from Castle's line of sight. "Maybe help with some paperwork?"

"I did my share," Castle replies to Beckett's really? look at his meager pile of folders.

"I doubt that drawing stick figures counts as paperwork Castle." Beckett says as she makes the stack of papers disappear into the trash. "A kid can do better, and you know it."

"Being 90% kid myself, I think I did a good job. And it's not my fault there are no cases for me to peel apart."

"Then go home Castle, and write a book or something. You aren't helping here." She glares at Castle, who slam dunks another pen. "All you are doing is distracting me and SPILLING MY COFFEE!" This time it flew into her new cup of coffee; splashing the hot drink all over her desk, soaking a file.

"Just go. Shoo. Leave. If something happens I'll call." But as Beckett started to mop up all the spilt coffee, detective Kevin Ryan rounded the bullpen.

"Got a fresh one on 82nd and Lex, you in?" Castle spins around at his voice, pen in hand.

"YES!" The writer exclaims jumping straight out of his chair.

Beckett finishes cleaning Castle's mess, secures her service weapon, and follows the two towards the elevator.

"Where's Espo?" She questions, slowing the strides of her long legs to match Ryan's.

"He should be coming any sec," The detective replies. "He's just cleaning up some paperwork with another case."

With childish impatience, Castle repeatedly jabs the elevator's down button.

"Castle are you going to wait for us?" Beckett asks and Espo looks on with a smirk on his face as he walks toward Beckett's desk.

"I don't know Beckett, I think we should let him go, I mean it's not like he knows where to go." Detective Esposito states as the smile is still evident on his bronze features.
