Raven walked out of their room, which was a mess by the way, at least on Apple's side.
"That would teach her to mess with me." She said angrily.
Raven walked to the balcony near the dorm, where she liked to be alone sometimes, away from the common folk and annoying, prissy princesses and princes.
Raven watched the sunset and she had to admit, it was nice but too bright. Too sweet. Too good.
"Wow, what an spellbinding sunset."
Raven jumped back, at the person standing behind her. It wasn't everyday that the future Evil Queen Was scared out of her wits. Not that she would tell anyone that. She wasn't afraid of anything.
She saw a boy, a prince, ugh, watching the sunset and then their eyes met.
"Oh!" He jumped back and exclaimed.
Looks like Raven scared him too.
"Um..hi...um..sorry..I thought I was alone. I mean, not that I didn't see you, you were just so quiet and still so I kinda assumed you were a statue or something, but then again, why would a statue be placed on a bench? But I just was going to watch the sunset and leave and ugh, I had to open my mouth-"
Raven placed a finger to his mouth, shutting him up.
"-and yet, you can't seem to close it after you open it." She responded.
"Sowwy" He muffled.
She removed her finger from his lips.
"I-I think I'll just go." He said. "Sorry I bothered you."
She shook her head.
"No need. I'll just leave. I was just trying to clear my head, But-" She fakely chuckled. "-clearly, I can't find peace around this stupid school! I hate this school. I hate these people. I hate that incompetent Headmaster Grimm. I most certainly hate that Apple White!"
She blew up a gargoyle statue next to her, causing him to jump.
"I am sorry about that." The Prince said.
"Stop apologizing!" She commanded.
"Sor-um..never mind. You look like you could use someone to talk too."
Raven scoffed. "I am perfectly fine. Now get out of my way. I am leaving."
He moved aside for her to leave, but then accidentally made her trip with his foot, causing her to fall, and failed to catch her.
She growled in anger. "What is wrong with you?!" She exclaimed.
"I-I-I don't know!" He stuttered. "I am a klutz! I am supposed to be a Prince Charming, instead I am a Royal klutz who tends to babble and say the wrong things at the wrong time and...I am really, really sorry!"
"Well. You're the clumsiest Charming I've ever met!" She said. "Wait...where have I seen you before?"
"Um...I am that guy who complimented you the other day..."
Raven felt her cheeks warm. Was she blushing? Why?!
"Oh. Well. Since you have good taste in women, I guess I can forget this incident."
"...thanks. "
He extended his hand and helped her up. "I-I am Dexter."
"Raven Queen."
"I kinda knew that."
Then he smiled at her. Not one of those obnoxious typical Charming smiles that normal Charmings show, but a sweet, sincere, honest, shy smile.
A tiny part of Raven found it a bit adorable.
But she quickly pushed away the thought.
"Well, its nice to meet you. " Dexter said.
"But you've already met me...?" Raven replied.
"Oh. Yea! I did but not like formally or something like that.."
"You're weird." Raven said, without having a second thought about it.
"Oh." Was all that Dexter said and looked down on the floor dejected.
He looked like he just got punched in the stomach.
"You're not normal. I like that. Normal sucks." Raven finished.
Dexter looked back up, with hope in his eyes. "Really?"
Raven nodded.
"Wow..thanks!"
Yep..weird indeed. But in a good way.
"Iam going to go now." Raven said and began to walk away."Wait. Don't you maybe...want to talk? You look like you could use someone to talk to."
"I am fine." She lied.
Dexter looked disappointed. "Oh. Well, if you ever want to talk..."
He then took out a piece of paper he had in his pocket, a mini pen and wrote down something and gave it to Raven.
"..text me. Or call me. Whatever. You can even throw it away if you don't want to. Whatever you want...or just come talk to me face to face..or even here, I tend to be here often, especially around sunset...."
Raven found this sudden..niceness towards odd. Very odd. No one wanted to be in the same room as Raven. Let alone talk to her or text her.
Raven immediately wondered what exactly would this boy, Dexter, benefit from this, if she bothered to continue to talk to him. Not much, she supposed. After all, he was a Charming and a hero. But Then again..He could be one of those Charmings, who are always looking a for a girl to spend time with and then break their hearts.
But he didn't seem like that type of boy. Maybe he just wanted to be friends with her. Which she found hilarious. But then again..Raven didn't exactly have any friends around here, maybe...she could use one.
"Um..sure. Thank you." She replied awkwardly. Then she decided to do the weirdest thing. She smiled, a nice smile at Dexter. Or least tried.
But to him, It was perfect.

Author's Note:
Sigh. I just love these two. But gasp, Evil Royal Raven and Rebel Dexter? Wow writing them in this AU is going to be fun. MUA HAHA.
Anyway...I hope you all enjoyed the first two chapters of this story, it will be updating..well...whenever I can. Don't worry, Raven and Apple aren't the main characters in this story, well they are, but it's not going to be all about them. More characters will be introduced and have their own stories to share.
