Not a Fan {Ty Simpkins fanfic}

DANI'S POV

"No! No, you can't do that!" I heard Evan say to Ty as I catch up to them in the school hall. "I can and I will! You can't stop me!" Ty responded. "What can't he stop you from doing?" I ask out loud.

Evan gives me a desperate look. "Nothing! Nothing at all!" He screeches out. Ty shakes his head with annoyance. "I'm gonna-" "Tyyy!" Evan interrupts. "She's my best friend too and she deserves to know!" Ty snaps at him. Evan shrinks down to let Ty talk.

"I'm gonna ask Marlena out." He says, leaving me a little dazed. "Ou-out? Like on a date?" I stutter. He nods. "Ya. I mean, I really like her Dani. Do you..not think I should..?" "Ty, you know I'll always support you.. You- you should go for it.." I try to get the false words out.

"Thanks Dani" He gives a sincere smile that makes me go a little wobbly. Evan looks at me, obviously concerned I'm hurt about Marlena and Ty. "It's ok. I'm fine." I mouth to him with a shrug. I know he doesn't believe me, but he lets it go which I appreciate.

The warning bell rings for class. "Come on, we're gonna be late!" I say in response to the bell and start running down the hall. "No running Ms. Grace." Mrs. Faffle, our history teacher, scolded with no expression as I ran past her into the classroom. "Sorry Mrs. Faffle but would you rather me be late or running?" I smirk.

A hint of a smile crosses her face and I take a seat at my desk, followed by Ty and Evan just barely slinking through the door as the class bell went off. "Ok, Lets start class then, shall we? Belgium 1831.." Mrs. Faffle trails on without my attention.

I jump in my seat when my phone vibrates in my pocket. I look around nervously to check if anyone noticed. I cautiously take out my phone and turn it on.

Brayden

I don't answer, but turn it back off after I make sure its on silent. I glance over at Ty. He's talking to Marlena. My stomach cringes and I take my phone back into my hand.

Hey Brayden:)

I text back. I give Ty and Marlena a secret death stare. Brayden almost immediately answers. I smile and open the chat without anyone finding out.

Brayden: Hey:) I got bored in class lol
Me: Haha me too
Brayden: So um, how about going to the movies with me tonight?

My heart shifts. He asked me out.. A wide smile spreads across my face which I quickly hide. I turn to Ty with Marlena. My smile fades into a frown.

My heart beats a little faster as I type. "Ms. Grace?" Mrs. Faffle's voice roars over my thoughts. Startled, I hide my phone in my lap and look up. "Yes?" I ask innocently. She raises an eyebrow at me.

I purse my lips and turn off my phone, putting it away. "Thank you." I nod in return.

The bell rings and I gather up my stuff to leave the room. "Hey Dani!" Ty says jogging up to my desk. "Hey, whats up?" I ask him while picking up my books.

"I asked her! Marlena! We going out tonight!" I drop my collection of books to the ground in shock. "Great..!"
