Sofia POV:
I grabbed my luggage and kissed my parents goodbye as I boarded the ship. My three best friends followed close behind.
"This is going to be so fun!" Madeline exclaimed.
"Yes! And Sofia is finally going to lose her v-card to Ryan," Elena yelled over the roaring of the other students boarding the ship.
"Shhh," I hushed Elena motioning with a finger to my lip. "The whole world doesn't need to know I'm still a virgin."
"Okay fine. But let's go find Ryan. He's probably gathered with the rest of the football players," Elena replied. "In fact I might just find me my own football player," Elena winked.
Elena or El, as we called her, is my forever best friend, since birth. We are practically sisters, and had every important memory together growing up because her parents lived right next door. She was born a week before I was and was literally there at my birth. She has gorgeous wavy blonde hair that reaches to the middle of her back. Her crystal blue eyes are what catches every guy's attention.
I on the other hand have light brown eyes that match my light brown hair. My hair is wavy like hers. If we hadn't grown up next door, I don't think we would have ever been friends. We're so opposite of each other. I'm the overachiever in academics and she's average. Don't get me wrong, she's smart, but doesn't always do her work or apply herself. Her family has pretty much given her whatever she wants whenever she wants. She's gorgeous and sexy and uses that to her advantage. Yeah I'll admit that I have some nice features as well but I don't put them on display or flaunt it, as she often does. I like to keep to myself, but when I'm with my friends I tend to just go with the flow. El is the opposite, she's the one always going with the flow or coming up with the ideas and is 100% an extrovert.
Madeline I've known since middle school. In 6th grade, she joined mine and Elena's unbreakable bond. Madeline has long dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. She fits perfectly as the middle in our groups, level headed and smart, but also a little more reserved and shy like me.
And last but not least there is Emery. She joined our group last, but still fit right in. She is the baby of the group, age wise, but academically, probably the smartest. She skipped 8th grade and joined us freshman year. She has dark brown hair with hazel eyes.
I spotted the football team across the lower deck, which pulled me out of my thoughts. We approached them with confidence on our side.
"Hey there S. You look stunning as always," Ryan said kissing my cheek. He turned his head to whisper in my ear, "I'm in room 23. Meet me there at 8."
A shiver ran down my spine. "Okay," I replied shyly. "I should go put my stuff away. I'll see you later," I said pulling myself away from the awkward stares of the rest of the football team. "Elena, you coming?"
"Huh?" Elena looked over, she was already flirting with Jimmy, whom she turned down last year. But I guess a year can make a difference.
"Oh! Right behind you!" Elena said as she hugged Jimmy and grabbed her bags.
We walked up the stairs to the second story to find our room. Of course, Elena and I planned in advance and persuaded the chaperones to let us room together. Since we were together since birth, generally if we had to split up it was always El and me and then Madeline and Emery and it just worked for us.
"So what was that all about with Jimmy?" I asked as I opened the door to our room.
"Oh nothing, I just didn't realize how hot he was. I mean he's still an idiot, but a sexy idiot for sure," Elena stated matter of factly.
