Chapter 7 - Sleeping Beauty

I watched him sleep, I wondered if he was dreaming of me, I dreamt about him, his raven black hair with a few fiery red streaks running though his bangs. He's perfect in my eyes.

He slept there and snored lightly with Selena wrapped in his arms, you can tell there brother and sister, they look so much alike, both tanned and both with beautiful blue eyes.

I got up and I found Kyra sitting on the ground near a fire, "what are you doing?" I asked her and she jumped as if I startled her "Geez Garret you scared me!, nothing just trying to keep warm, you?" I stared at her for a minute before I answered "Umm, nothing just said goodnight to Cree" she gave me a confuse look before speaking "You like him don't you" "Is it that obvious?" I gave an embarrassed look "just a tidbit" she laughed and smirked "Umm, yeah well imma go to bed" as I got up I headed for my own room "Cree's room is the other way" she smiled hard as I switched directions.

"Cree, Cree" I whispered "what?" He said with a tired groan "can I sleep here with you?" I pleaded, without saying a word he moved over an lifted the blanket for me, I hopped in the bed, and as soon as I felt Cree's warmth I fell asleep.

When I woke up I realized I was still in the bed with Cree, Selena was gone again, and Cree had his arm wrapped around me.

I laid there for what seemed like forever before Cree opened his eyes and looked at me "Good morning Beautiful" he said to me as he winked and smiled.

My heart fluttered in my chest as I heard those words play over in my head.
