Chapter 5 - Gone?

As soon as we were safe in an old abandon hotel Selena fell asleep, she just laid there so calm and sound. It was right then it hit me, this is no place for a child.

Garret was watching her too, even he knew it was a dangerous place for a young girl, well she's 12 but that's still little to me.

"Where's Kyra?" I looked over at Garret with a confused look, "She's in the bathroom washing up" he said back, even during the apocalypse, Kyra still has time to take care of herself.

When she came out she looked beautiful, she always looks so beautiful.

We sat around the room and talked for a while before all going to bed. Since it was a hotel there was a bed, yeah only one bed, I tucked Selena the bed then layers down beside her, Kyra slept on the other side of the bed and I don't know why but Garret asked if he could sleep between me an and Selena, "uhh okay" I said then we all fell asleep.

When I woke up I rubbed my eyes and looked around. Selena was gone!
