She lived in a day dream world, where the clouds were cotton candy,
And the streets were all a form of a yellow brick road.
And he lived in reality,
Where the sky was blueAnd his car was late on dues and would be tolled.
Her hair changed with each coming month,
She'd base it off luck. His eyes would flicker with each passing tone of love
And that was one thing he truly sucked. She loved him for the way he breathed,
The way he smiled
And whistled in between his teeth. She wanted his security
His blanket on the floor
She admired the fact,
That he could close his imagination door.He loved her for the way her thoughts differed from his,
Her kindness,
The fact that her hands were smaller then his.He craved her opinions,
And questioned her mind.
He wanted to hear her thoughts all the time.Willingly they changed,
They became strongBut sadly when time began to come
He was no longer sure
And she no longer a dreamer. But alas, he fell for the girl
Who's feet were planted onto the floor
And she, for the boy with an open door.
