I don't know exactly why others perceive your eyes,
With a mountain full of hushed smiles and mystery. What I do know is that they have the capability to melt me.
I know that when you look down and grasp my own,
The warm honey speckles surrounding colored stripes brighten,
and bring me home. The overwhelming blue seems to be a sea,
Drawing in my arms to grasp your neck lightly.Inviting they seem.
I can't forget the emerald shine either,
They have this way to manipulate my feelings to where they begin to rhyme,
and they cause my cheeks to spiral out of control,
Dyeing a deep scarlet red that flows to the soul. And then there's the stare that you hold so well,
Or better yet the gaze.
The softened looks,
The mellowed hooks. The tiger stripes I'm tempted to trace.
Your eyes aren't a mystery,
But they really do entice.
They're something to get lost in,
Filled with all the good vibes.
