"You gotta be kidding me." Those were the first words that emerged from my mouth.
I could name every single one of them. The flirtatious blonde was Tamaki, glasses dude was Kyoya, the not really homosexual twins were Hikaru and Kaoru, the tall muscle one was known as Mori, and everyone's beloved little Honey-senpai. Honey was the shortest and the most childish, but also the eldest member of the host club. Then, there was the intelligent, painfully blunt, and realistic Haruhi.
"Welcome to the Host Club," Tamaki repeated. "So do you care to tell me your type out new guest?"
My friends and I were all stunned speechless. Of all the animes, we wound up in this one. Although it's not too bad, I mean since this is just a school life romance comedy it's fairly safe. Unless Honey gets mad at you but that's highly unlikely.
"Hey King, it looks like," Hikaru started.
"We have some homos," Kaoru finished.
Homos?
I looked down at myself. Seriously?! I wore the baby blue Ouran High School uniform, the male uniform that is. Great, just great, I've become a cross dresser... like Haruhi... And for those who don't know the story, Fujioka Haruhi, a scholarship student, is disguising herself as a boy at the Host Club in order to pay off the vase she accidentally broke.
But, I wasn't the only one in the boy's uniform, Marigold and Savannah were in the same boat. Both of them wearing wigs just like mine in different colors and styles. And for some apparent reason I couldn't seem to pull mine off my head. Even our chests were bound!! I mean what the heck!
On the other hand, I guess I should be grateful. I mean at least I don't have to wear that terribly gaudy, stupid, poofy yellow gown they call a girl's uniform. Poor Jane, Cath, and Aria... No one should be forced to wear that. I mentally thanked the world for putting me in pants instead of a skirt.
"Not a problem," Tamaki continued. "So tell me my princesses and princes, do you like the devil type? The-"
"Just stop there! Goodness gracious I have a headache!" I complained massaging my temples.
Shaking out of her trance Marigold shrieked. "HONEY-SENPAI!!"
Meanwhile, muttering to herself Savannah was fangirling and muttering something inaudible. Leaving Aria and Cath bored and confused. Bored because Cath didn't like the anime so she stopped watching in the beginning. Confused because Aria never really watched it. Jane was stuck in the situation where didn't know whether to freak out or squeal with joy. At this point I wasn't surprised anymore I just wanted to go home.
I mean this was one of my favorites, but after going through Kuroshitsuji and Fairy Tail one right after another it tends to leave you tired out. Jane nudged my shoulder and pointed to something.
"It's an arrow," Marigold said after she was done shrieking.
"What's an arrow-" Aria drifted off.
And there it was a blinking arrow pointing at a small porcelain statue resting on a high pedestal. I backed away from it immediately.
The Hitachin twins searched around and said in unison. "I don't see anything."
"Okay everyone stay away from that statue thingy!" I warned aloud.
"Is he scared of statues?" Wondered Kaoru.
Hikaru added. "Huh, weird phobia."
"Ne, ne, do want to have some cake with me and Usa-chan?" Honey invited.
"Oh my gosh yes!!" Marigold accepted excitedly.
"Um, is it okay to do this?" Aria asked.
Tamaki stepped toward Aria and took her by the hand. With his free hand he held up a crimson rose to her face. "Of course it is my lovely princess. It would be an honor for someone as lovely as you to accompany us."
