Chapter:20

It's Monday again... oh no!!
Ever one still look a little hungover. Charles didn't even contacted any of us after his date. Same is the case with Brad and Emma.
I took a bus to school as I was told Brad took the car. What does he think? It's my car too, he can't just take it like that.

When I enter the school all I see is red flyers everywhere, people gossiping about some big race, I don't know know what is it. I picked a flyer from the floor. In it was something about a bike race, street racing that's gonna take place today. I crumbled the paper and threw it away. Who participates in such illegal races? It's so dangerous.

I walk to my class where I found Jordan sleeping on his desk at the very end. I walk towards him and took a seat next to him and wake him up.

"Jordan wake up!"

"Just 5 mins mommy!!" He cried.
I giggled.

"Jordy baby wants to sleep?" I sing songed.

"Yes mommy!!" He replied with a creepy smile while sleeping.
I just couldn't handle it.

"Ahahahahahhaha!!"

"What's wrong? "He woke in shock.

"Nothing" I grinned.

"So what's up? What's this race.?" I asked.

"Just the usual." He shrugged.

I raised my eyebrow.
"Oh sorry, you don't have any clue. It's a street race that happens every year. The winner gets a huge amount of money and each time Tyler wins it. He is the best." He replied.

"Ohh..wait WHAT? TYLER?!" I shrieked.
"Yes." He replied just when the teacher entered.

Oh no I'll have to stop him. It's too dangerous, no matter how good he is.

The school ended and it was a boring day. Except Jordan and I, no one came to school. I haven't talked to Tyler yet which reminds me I should do that. I dial his number and after a few rings he picks it up.

"Hey baby! "He greets. If it wasn't about the racing thing I would have definitely blushed, but know it's not the time.

"Don't you babe me mister.!! What are you doing? " I exclaimed.

"Woah! What's wrong? I'm just going to take a shower, why do you want to join?" He replied and I could sense his smirk.

"NO! Thank you and I meant about you racing!! Don't you know it's too dangerous. Why do you do this? You don't need the money! Your loaded! It's unsafe do you know that? And it won't be just you who'll get hurt if something happens but the people around you too."

"Woah. I...." there was a long pause, "would you care?" He asked.

"Do you even need to ask that?"

"Don't worry cupcake . Nothings going to happen to me." He replied.

"You know what Tyler? Do whatever you want to do! Just remember one thing that if you ride today then I'll never see you again."

"Listen? I know you care and shit but it's my drug, I need it. Without it I'm nothing. I can't leave it."

"You know what? you're right. I'm not gonna 'care and shit' about you!!" With that I hung up and stomped my way to my room.

I know I'm making too much out of it. We aren't even a couple yet but I don't know why I don't have a good feeling about it. I don't know what's gonna happen today but I want him to be safe.

After an hour or so I get a call from Chris

"Hey! Are you coming? Do you want me to pick you up?"

"Where ?" I asked.

"Racing..?"

"Oh! That... no. I'm not going."

"What's wrong..?"

"Nothing. It's just I'm not feeling good about this."

"Are you sure?"

"Yup. Bye. "

"Bye, sweets!"

With that we ended our call. I still don't want him to go call it intuition or my 6th sense.

There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I answered

"Hey! You aren't going?"

"No Brad I'm not and everything is fine I just don't feel good about it, you go and enjoy." I sighed.

"Woah? Okay then goodbye I guess. But are you sure?"

"Yes. Now bye!"

"Okay bye."

I sighed. Everyone is there with him and I want to be with him too but I don't want to see anything happening to him. I just can't see him hurt. I'm not thinking negatively but I can feel it. Fingers crossed let's hope everything goes well.

Three hours later.....
Time: 10:44 pm

I get a call from Brad and after listening to him my phone slips through my hands.....
