Kinaru: Hey all you wonderful readers, you're all probably wondering why oh why I've started another Naruto Fanfic, especially when I'm not even finished with the last one.
Well here it why, as I said at the end of one of my previous chapters in my other fanfiction, I've been planning this story for a while. Almost two years to be exact.
The characters were even made before I started on Yuna's story (the ILYBD Trilogy}. Yet I never got around to it because, obviously, I had that story going and was too busy. But since the sequel series is going kind of slow, I figured why not?
Anyway... That's all I'm gonna say right now...
So enough of my ranting. Please enjoy this first chapter and please tell me what you think. I'd love to hear from you.
Oh, P.S. I DON'T OWN NARUTO!!!

Chapter 1
He stared at the door as though it were a portal to hell. The gate way to eternal suffering. He hadn't wanted to come here, he'd been perfectly fine with staying where they had lived. The place he'd been born and raised as a young shinobi.n
This place was strange, unfamiliar, and shockingly warm. He'd learned, in the thirty five hours and sixteen minutes they'd been here, that the village only got snow in late December early January. To him it was odd not to have snow even in the warmer months of the year.
"Aki, I'll get the last few boxes. Why don't you go set up your room?"
He turned at the voice, the only one that was familiar to him in this strange land. His sister, she was currently stacking the last three boxes she was planning to bring in, not even looking to see if her little brother had heard her. The last boxes seemed rather heavy in his opinion, but he knew better than to offer her any assistance. Last time he'd gotten one of her more than deadly glares and some rough words that could have started an argument, had he not given in to her stubborn behavior.
"Hai..." Once again, he hesitated to enter what would be their new home for however long the kunoichi decided they'd stay. She showed no signs of discomfort when taking in their new surroundings. After all, she'd been born in this village, hidden in the leaves, and stayed till she was four, when their parents moved them north.
Inside, boxes still covered most the floor, and blocked part of the entry. He wondered if they would ever finish unpacking everything. He could imagine they'd still have some packed when they moved again.
"Why did we move here again..?" He wondered out loud, slowly wandering to his room. His final box held under one arm.
"Because Otou-san always wanted us to move back."
He nearly jumped out of his skin, he hadn't expected her to hear him. His voice hadn't been that loud and he'd thought she'd be in the kitchen. It was always weird how she could sneak up on you like a ghost.
"That was before Okaa-san and him-.." He began to say, but the narrowing of her eyes followed by the sound of her voice when she said his name made him freeze. He much preferred her calling him 'Aki.'
"Akihiko."
He grimaced at the name, she only used it when she was completely serious with him. It made him instantly regret bringing up such a sore subject. "Onee-san.. Gomenasai.." Her eyes softened and she tugged on that sickly fake smile he'd come to know her by.
He expected her to go back to what she was doing, but instead found her placing a vanilla folder in his free hand. He didn't grab it, he didn't want to know what was inside, but she forced him to, ignoring his grimace as though it pained him to accept it.
