I have bruises everywhere
I have footprints on my stomach
I have a black eye
I have a bump on my head
But nobody notices it, not even teachers
But I'm still not awestruck
Clutching my stomach I come back home
Putting the key in the keyhole
I'm in so much pain, I let out a yelp
But nobody will come to help
My mom is ashamed of me
My dad disregards me as his daughter
My older sister thinks lowly of me
My little brother thinks I'm a loser
And here I am standing
An exactly same girl in front of me
Eyeing her bruises
Cursing her prescence
But what will she do
She'll apply makeup and hide her bruises
Just like how everyday she uses
She's going to school hoping to be safe today
Even if she knows these hopes are about to shatter
And with a same question going on in her mind
Why do I get bullied
