Ness opened his eyes to see that his hand were being held by Delia. At that moment he couldn't tell if he should smile or give a frown. He shook her slightly to try to wake her but in return got a LOUD snort coming from her.  Ness couldn't hold in his laughter and literately laughed out loud. Delia woke up with a jolt and looked around looking for what was the source of the noise eventually looking at Ness. "Whats so funny" She groaned as she got into the bed with Ness cuddling up to his arm. Ness honestly was shocked at how lovey dovey she was since she was usually to shy to do anything. "Um Delia? What are you doing?" Ness asked while a blush started to brush over his cheeks. "I'm just showing how much I love u and how much i kicked your friends butt" She said with a sad shy tone.   Ness gave her a quick peck on the lips earning a surprised squeak form Delia. "Don't worry about that Paula shouldn't have done that" He said with one of his goofy smiles plastered to his face as Delia let out a giggle.  "I still Cant believe u guys started a fight in front of me" Ness said as he wrapped his arms around Delia's small waist. "Delia Next time if Paula tries to kill someone let me try to help her i will need your help when i ask for it" He said with a concerned look on his face.  "Delia curled up in a ball and fell back asleep saying only two words " I promise". At that moment someone stepped out of the closet in the room. It was Paula with tears trailing down her face. "Why....WHY DO U CHOOSE HER OVER ME!" She Yelled as she ran out of the room. Ness Was shocked at what had just occurred and hurriedly put on a t-shirt and shorts and ran out after her.

*Paula's POV*

I couldn't help it anymore. I Ran as fast as possible away from the room where the guy i loved stayed at. I ran out of the doors of the hospital and kept running as fast as possible trying to run away from all the pain that she was feeling. She has had this feeling ever since that awkward talk with Ness a few weeks ago. The pain was so strong it blurred her mind from the rest of the world and kept her from progressing through life. She couldn't deal with the pain. She may be strong in battles with fearsome enemy's that cross her path, But with this pain dwelling deep inside her she was losing the battle quickly. She made it to the cliff near that destroyed house missing a entire wall section. "Do it Paula...what else do u have to lose?" Said a voice in her head that sounded like a dark demonic version of Paula herself. She took a step closer to the edge of the cliff seeing a rocky and jagged floor beneath her while the rest of it was the ocean. She closed her eyes and breathed heavily knowing the pain would soon be over. She closed her eyes and leaned forward toward her end. 

*Ness's POV* 

I ran after Paula not knowing what to do at a moment like this. I made my way toward the edge of the cliff where I last saw her heading. I used some of the remaining PSI i had left to add some boost to my running. As i approached the I stopped dead in my tracks seeing something that I could't believe. There was Paula standing on the edge of the cliff bawling her eyes out. She wiped her eyes and then had them shut. She then started leaning forward as if she was about to jump. My eyes widened in terror as i used all of my speed and effort into my legs to run toward her. 

PAULAAAAAA!!!!!

*3rd Person*

Ness grabbed Paula's arm just as she was about to fall and pulled her into his arms. "LET ME GO" Paula screamed as she struggled to get out of Ness's grip. "NO!" Ness yelled in a stern voice. 'Why do you care if I die or not!" Paula shrieked as tears started falling out of her eyes. "Because your my best-est friend Paula! Im not letting you do this!" Ness said as tears threatened to fall from his eyes. "You don't care about me at all! All you care is about that Delia girl!" Paula said looking at Ness with the saddest face he had ever seen. "I loved you with all my heart and you never noticed" She choked out through her sobs. Ness was shocked at what he had just heard. She loved him this whole time? She needed him there when she needed him and He just ignore it. He saw this broken girl in his arms sobbing uncontrollably, and the worst part was that it was all his fault. He looked at her and knew that if he just left her with her heart broken she would try suicide again. It was true that he loved Delia and he wanted to be with her for as long as possible....but this was something he couldn't risk.... he couldn't have Paula take her own life. With a tear falling down his face he with all of his heart and mind prayed "Please....Delia ....Please forgive me... ".

That's when Ness pressed his lips against Paula's.
