Meeting a new friend

'Well hopefully Paula didn't think i was suspicious or anything" Ness said as he made it up to his mail box.    ARHGHHHH!    Ness heard the sound of a girl screaming in the direction of the new neighbors back yard.  He raced to the sound and saw a small girl , about his age on the ground with a coil snake and a wandering sprout approaching her.  With a swing of his bat he bashed the top of the coil snake , it immediately becoming tame and slithering away,   while the wandering sprout rammed into him taking him by surprise.  Although there small they can cut pretty well into you.  The sprout tried to charge again but Ness smashed the bat into the side of the sprout sending it flying away.   'HOME RUN!'  Ness said with a smile but then turned around and helped the girl up.     'Are u ok'    Ness asked with  a concerned look on his face.    'i-im fine'  the girl said in a quite soft tone.   'um...can i see your cut?'  the girl said while twiddling her fingers .    ' um sure ' Ness said as he lifted up his shorts a bit showing a cut thats bleeding quite quickly.   The girl then knelled down and put her hands over the cut.    At that moment Ness saw the most amazing thing.   He noticed that her hands were glowing a light blue and healing the wound making him feel warm and safe.  'So um whats your name?'   Ness said.   'my name is Cordelia .....but please call me Delia' she said lightly blushing.   'Well my name is Ness your neighbor ' he said with a smile.   'um...thank you for saving me '   she said looking down and blushing.   'well you needed help so i wanted to help' he said .    'Hey Delia how did you get those powers?'   Ness asked trying not to be rude.  ' I was born with them..... i learned how to use them and thats hows it's been'  she said seeming more quite.   'well don't worry  have powers too you know'  he said putting a hand on her shoulder.     'Y-you have powers too?'     she asked giving a slight smile.    'yea i do look'  Ness said and right after that used a pk flash at a field , making the field explode into a blinding light for a second.  'wow that amazing'  Delia said .    Ness smiled at the complement.   NEEESSS ITS DINNER TIME!'  yelled ness's mother from the front door.   'Well i gotta go' Ness said and walked away waving bye while the girl was waving back with a light tint of pink on her cheeks.
