Blacks and grizzlies,
Hidden amongst the trees,
Fir and pine, dense vegetation too,
The wandering ground of the bear,
Beside the riverbank,
The black is spotted, preying
On the salmon in the
Crystal clear waters, gushing white spray,
Breaking against the boulders, the
Bald eagle on its perch atop the tree,
Impervious, proud like a king, with Crystal clear eyesight; it eyes its surrounds, the land around,
Better sight than the bear,
Which has to stand, better than the human eye,
Which cannot pierce the dense green forests,
The eagle soars high above the Rockies, high above the trees, high above the people,
A proud king of this untamed land.
