Arketus padded up the steps of Throne Hill and, at the foot of Fayhime, he sat before Zeus.
"How did it go?" Arketus growled, sympathetically.
Zeus coughed, "You know. I feel like I almost died... Actually, I did die."
"Really? Have you learnt a lesson Zeus? You should not accept a fight from any Angel, especially one so old, so large and so known for bringing death wherever his wroth is laid down. What were you thinking? Did you think he would go easy on you?"
"I did not expect to almost get killed if that is what you're asking. I expected to lose, I expected some sort of painful consequence, but I did not expect death. I did not think Cronus would go so far to teach a lesson. Good thing he is not my father," said Zeus, laughing with a sense of relief.
"Yes, good thing indeed... Are you okay now though?" Arketus asked.
"Yes. I am fine," said Zeus, as he raised his right arm he noticed his bands were cracked along the side, he groaned, "Now I have to fix these. I have class in approximately ten minutes. Oh, everyone's going to be all soppy and remorseful when I get in there, it is going to be really annoying."
Zeus could always tell what time it was without a watch, he was always aware of how much time had passed.
"It isn't going to be that bad. You did bring it upon yourself."
"Yeah, yeah, I know," said Zeus as he hopped off of Fayhime, "It is just going to be embarrassing."
Zeus scratched the top of Arketus' head and lines of static electricity jumped off of his fingers, working their way into the lion's sleek black scalp. Arketus closed his eyes and enjoyed Zeus' tender touch. Zeus worked his hands into Arketus' thick silky mane and after a while, he stopped and sighed.
"I feel a little strange Arketus, right after he punched me. I do not know what it is. I will see you tonight after dinner with Cronus, alright? We will go hunting or something," said Zeus.
"Okay Master," said Arketus.
"I know that you're in a mood when you call me, 'Master,' hahaa."
Zeus jumped high into the air and zapped into lightning form, streaking off to his tertiary school, Jinlorian Science Academy, a University, which was in one of the southern districts of Eterlas. When he got there he accessed a locker of his, got dressed up in an all black suit with white trim and entered the classroom he needed to get to which was in the southwest wing of the University. When he entered everyone sitting in the eleven ascending rows of ninety-nine seats looked in his direction awkwardly then stood up and started clapping and cheering. It was a full classroom.
Zeus stopped just after getting through the door and grinned ashamedly. He waved and walked up to the front of the class and stood behind a lectern specifically designed for him, there were not many teachers of his height in the University. The average height of six feet was shared by both male and female Martians.
"Alright class, settle down. I know that after what you saw earlier you must think me to be rather brave, but I assure you my heart was beating as cowardly as a squirrel's under the paw of a freis-wolf," said Zeus.
"You rocked Ena Zeus!" 'Ena' is the prefix used before a tertiary school's professor.
"Yeah!" The class chanted and began cheering again.
Zeus grinned while playing an air guitar, "I could have rocked, had I brought my guitar and bashed in Cronus' head with it, but for shame! None of you reminded me to bring one. Now. Can anyone remember what I said the topic of this class would be?"
