I was sleeping soundly and got pushed off the bed. I sat up and rub my neck, I peek on the side of the bed to see my brother standing on the other side of my bed chuckling. "What's so funny jackass?" I smirked at my remark. Then before I got up I saw Molly ( my 10 year old blood hound.) came waddling up to me. "Aww hi Molly how're you doing you grandma?" She just looked at me with those saggy puppy dog eyes. I giggled and gave her a kiss. "Ew..." I said as I wiped drool off my mouth. I got up and went over too my brother who was on his phone texting his idiot friends. "Get out so I can change." I closed my door and went to my closet. I picked out a black tank top and a white crop top. I picked out some skinny jeans and a pair of busted up black converse. Man I need to get some new shoes, I thought to myself. "Kathryn! You better hurry up before you miss the bus!" My step father hollered from down stairs. "Damn-it, ... Ok!" I hurried downstairs and grabbed a pop tart on the way out. Being the klutz i am I tripped over my 5 year old beagle kassy. She yelped and ran away. " ugh... Wha- sorry kassy." You mumbled to yourself. You got up and headed out the door, you knew you missed the bus so you called your friend Alex and Nikolai. You dialed his number.

Rin- " hello?"
" hey Alex I uh.... Missed the bus... Again could maybe pick me up?"
He huffed with annoyance in his voice." Fine, but this is th-" he was cut off by Nikolai. " of course we'll pick you up you are OUR best friend after all." You chuckled when you heard them arguing. "Guys...." They were still arguing " huh," GUYS!!" You yelled into the phone it went quite. " yea what is it Katy?" They both said in unison. "School, ride, pick me up dip-shits!"
"Oh...." And with that they hung up. I sighed and sat down on the curb. I pulled out my phone and headphones, plugged them in and started listening to " Lucky Strike " by Maroon 5. It was about the end of the song when I heard honking. I looked up to see Alex driving and Nikolai standing in the back seat flailing his arms around like a maniac. I put my headphones in my bag and went on Instagram. "Oh my glob! Uh- OH MY GLOB!!" Alex and Nikolai looked at me with confused expressions on their faces. "Katy... Explain." Said Alex. " okay so you know my cousin from California?"
" yea? What about her?" They said in unison. " well...." I trailed off reading some more on her post. " she's coming to Idaho.... Next week! Right now she's about to board the plane."
" ooo! Yay a new friend, and possibly girlfriend." said Nikolai as he wiggled his eyebrows up and down." Haha, in your dreams! Plus she's already got a boyfriend." He shrugged and looked away to where the door would be. We arrived at school and some of the popular kids were in our parking spot. " hey could you guys move maybe?" I said kind of irritated. " uh, no. We're talking here." Said a jock as he chuckled. I rolled my eyes and started to climb out of the car. Alex and Nikolai tried to stop me, but I got and went straight to the jock that said no. I had a serious expression on my face. His friend pointed to me and he turned. " what do you want shortie." He said with annoyance in his voice. " oh no, you did not just call me shortie."
" yeah? So what? Watcha gonna do about it, shortie?" I could feel Alex smirking and Nikolai staring at them. I had a look of death in my eyes. I walked closer to him and he looked at his friends, right then I slapped him which made the rest of the students around stare and watch in silence. He held his face with an angry and confused expression. " oh, I'm sorry did that hurt?" I said with a baby voice and pouty face. He went to punch me but, I dodged it quickly. " look you don't want to do this." I said as I chuckled as I imagined him in the nurses office. He tried again and again and again but, he failed to touch me even at the slightest. He tried to punch me one more time but instead of dodging it I grabbed his fist. I heard mumbling in the crowd that surrounded us. I then gave him a quick smirk before twisting his arm and he stumbled forward, behind me. He charged but I ducked under his arm and kicked him and he fell forward and landed on the ground with a groan. I walked forward and bent down and whispered " I told you, you don't want to do this." I stood back up and put my hand down to help him up. He hesitated but, grabbed it. He stood up and I was looking at our feet. I looked up and had the look of death written all over my face. He started to back up but, I grabbed his wrist and then I did something no one would expect. I smiled and waved " see you at lunch." Then walked away.
