Chapter 2: Granny's at 6:00

After me and Ruby were charmed by the boy next door, we headed back inside when I realized I never got his name. Seeing the slight confusion and sadness in my expression and spoke up, "Killian."
"What?" I said.
"His name... It's Killian."
How did she know that?
"How do you-?" She interrupted me, "He just texted me, that he forgot to tell you." She smirked, lifting her left eyebrow, "you."
Ugh. Ruby couldn't know that I was absolutely obsessed with this guy already, so much that I had to know how she had got his number. I asked.
She responded, "You should really pay more attention" shook her phone in front of me, and running upstairs.
I followed instantly. We teased and watched TV for a while then her phone went off, "Can you check who it is?"
I got up and pressed the ON button.

The message cut off from the lock screen and I tossed it to her, pretending I didn't read it.
She caught it instinctively. And opened it with her thumb print, she gasped and laughed.
I would say I wasn't jealous, but I'd be lying... Are you gonna stop teasing me or are you gonna...
How many possibilities could there be? He liked Ruby the "flirting" was nothing...

"Uhh, sure...?" I said unsure if he actually wanted it. I heard Ruby's keyboard click and a woosh as it sent from her iPhone 5C cased in blood red. Then a ding, but not from her phone. From mine.

I blushed at the text and responded, turning off my keyboard clicks so Ruby couldn't tell how much I was planning to text him... I put his number in my phone with a smiley face.
