May first. The last month of school, here in Atlanta.

I grab my black notebook for homework. I glance to my left as I shut my locker and see the school couple coming my way down the hallway. Classic Brianna and Chandler.

Brianna has been dating him for a year now. Well, almost a year. She's happy - but Chandler isn't.

Sure, they may look satisfied with each other all over Instagram and Ask. Sweet hugs, pictures, love poems, kisses all over the internet. But in reality, well, that's a whole different story.

It all started last December, in 2015, things totally started to fall apart. Brianna lost all her old friends. It started out with Katie, apparently using Brianna for fame. Their friendship sunk. All her old friends defended Katie, and stuck with her, considering they don't live in the same states anymore.

Brianna moved here to Atlanta from Florida a few months ago for Chandler. He just shrugged off the drama and continued their relationship. It was pointless for her to move here, she's going to college next month since she's a senior.

Her true colours were revealed to everyone. She's snobby, a back stabber, cry baby and rude to Chandler's fans. Since the two first got together Brianna has been getting hated on, and ten times more now.

Me? Me and Chandler talk occasionally, just not a lot when Brianna's around. We message each other over Twitter sometimes.

"Are you coming to the party on Saturday?" Chandler asks Brianna as they stop at her locker.

"I'm going for an interview for college this weekend," she whines, unlocking her locker.

I eavesdrop, peeking through a small slit through my locker door.

I never really liked her. I hate seeing Chandler unhappy. He should be happy. That's what I want. That's what his fans want.

"You're not going without me, right?"

Chandler lets out a heavy sigh, resting his arm against the row of lockers. I see the tired look in his eyes.

"No."

"I love you," she giggles, kissing his cheek as she goes to her clique.

"Hey, Carly!"

I turn around and see my friend, Jaylynn.

"Hey," I say, slapping the locker shut.

"Eric's throwing a party on Saturday," she grins, "he wants me to go with him."

"You should go, too."

"I don't know," I hesitate, walking out the school doors with her.

"It'll be fun!"

"Eh."

"I'll text you later, I gotta work," she sighs.

"Bye," I say, watching her long, brown hair with dyed blonde tips blow through the wind.

I walk to the city bus stop, immediately pulling out my phone. I check Twitter, a few messages. I move my blonde hair out of my eyes.

The bus stops in front of me as I get on. I usually sit at the back.

3:24 pm

@ChandlerRiggs: hey

3:25 pm

@awkwardfics: hi :p

3:27 pm

@ChandlerRiggs: are u doing anything this weekend?

3:29 pm

@awkwardfics: no, why?

Okay, I have a little crush on Chandler. Fine, a big one. I've known him since we were little, before Brianna or Hana came along. He was always the popular one, I just have a few close friends.

3:31 pm

@ChandlerRiggs: never mind.

And, I've been jealous. I can't find a way to get him to notice me in that way. A girlfriend way. If there was a way to erase his past, and start fresh, I'd be first on the list.
