A Kiss On A Ship

Cinder was walking on the dock towards the huge ship, when someone grabbed her arm.

"Oh my stars! Can you believe that we are going on a cruise!" Peony screeched in her ear.

"first of all no. Second, please don't scream in my ear I'd rather be able to hear for the rest of the trip. " Cinder replied back calmly.

"Cinder we are going on a cruise. You have to be a little excited!" this time it was her best friend Iko screaming in her other ear.

"I am, but how am I supposed to listen to music if I'm deaf?" Cinder shot back.

Iko and Peony keept rambling on about what they were going to do, so she zoned out. Cinder really couldn't believe that she was going on a cruise. She could see Pearl and Peony (her stepsisters) going on a cruise but not her, let alone Cinder and Iko. That must have taken a long time for Garan (her stepfather) to convince Adri (her stepmother) to let Cinder and Iko come with. She never really understood why Adri hated her. Cinder got straight As, and almost never got in Adri's way. Maybe it was the fact that Garan spent so much time with her. He is an inventer and work a lot with mechanics. Which Cinder just happened to love. Pearl and Peony hate getting dirty so there was no chance they would ever like mechanics. But, when Garan found out the girl he adopted loved it, he immediately to a liking to her. Another ear piercing scream brought Cinder back to the present.

"Where here! " yelled Iko and Peony. Cinder looked up and a huge cruise ship met her eyes.

"stop screaming Peony. " scolded a rather annoyed Adri.

A grin appeared on Cinder's face when she stepped on the ship, leaving land behind. Speaking about leaving things behind, the only reason they were going on vacation was the fact they were moving. You could say her family was kind of rich. They could afford to move and go on vacation. Cinder lived in Western Commonwealth and now she was moving to Eastern Commonwealth. Before she knew it she was walking through the ship towards her and Iko's room. Peoney and Pearl shared a room. That left Garan and Adri with their own room. She pushed the bracelet up against the screen and the door opened with a click. The bracelet was also used to Make payments. pushing the door open Cinder peeked inside of the room.
