Its only been two hours since I've come to the surface and so far so good. I made a group of friends I don't know what my dad was talking about it being dangerous up here everyone that I met so far are so nice and one of them even has a crush on me like what? I mean sure everyone had a crush on me back home but that was because I was the Prince but here I'm just Niall A regular boy. It was exciting to be somewhere where no one knows who you are, somewhere where you aren't crowded by people who just want you for your money or body. I liked it up here I got to be myself not someone I have to be because I have to set a good sample to my people. It was so beautiful up here like the view of the ocean is just so beautiful funny I've lived int he ocean all my life and I never noticed how beautiful it was. I have to visit my dad tomorrow because he want to make sure that I was okay but I didn't understand why it's so peaceful here what could possibly go wrong. Yes I know the world can be a terrible place Like don't get me wrong I've heard of story that and I was watching the news an hour ago  but I know how to protect myself I was forced to learn how to box when i was young plus I was forced to take Fighting lesson cause I was suppose to become king one day and fight for my people so why is he worrying? I don't know and why wasn't I allowed to fall in love. Love is a beautiful thing no matter who or what you are love is love something you can't stop so why can't I fall in love with a human? I mean like who cares who you love.

Today was an eventful day. Its now been about four hours since I've come up to the surface and I didn't know what to do first I could go learn how to surf of I could go for a swim or I don't know there's just so many options. Maybe I should call up one of the guys they gave me their number in case I get bored or something.

"Hello" I say as Zayn finally decided to pick up

"Niall hey what's up?"

"Nothing I just wanted to know if you wanted to go do something with me?"

"Oh... Um Yea sure I'd love to" He says

"Okay meet me out side theres a little shack near my house that has amazing food"

"Okay Great"

"So what are you going to order?"

"Not sure yet I think I'm just going to order a cheeseburger what about you?" Zayn says

"Same you can never go wrong with a cheeseburger" I say even though I've never had one

"Hello my name is Ashton and I'm going to be your waiter for the evening" The waiter says but I didn't look up since I was still looking at my menu

"Well I'm just going to get a cheeseburger" Zayn says

"I'm still looking" I say still looking at the menu. I decided that if Zayn's food looks good then I'll just order that and I know not looking at the person you are talking to is rude but I've never been rude to someone and I've always want to know how it felt to be rude but I kinda regret it cause now I feel guilty oh well I'll just apologize when he comes back

"Lets play a game" Zayn says

"Okay what game?"

"Its called 21 questions have you ever played?"

"Yea I have You start though" I say

"Where are you from?"

"A town called under the sea" I say even though it wasn't really the truth but I couldn't really tell him that I lived under the sea

"Uh... Whats your favorite color?" I say since it was my turn

"My-" Zayn was interrupted by the waiter

"Here is the burge-" he dropped the plate with the burger on it and being the nice person I am I decided to help him clean but he just stood there frozen I was going to ask if he was okay but then I got a good look at his face and that when I realized.

This is Ashton Irwin my brother's -Luke's- boyfriend. But how? What was he doing here?

"Ashtom" I said in an angry voice

"What are you doing here? You have no right to be up here" I said in a shocking calm voice but I think that scared him more because next thing I know he was making a run for.

"Hey come back here" I yelled running after him. He was heading towards the was he was trying to get away he know I couldn't just go in I needed the towel in order to turn again. Just when I caught him we both fell into the water. He turned into a merman but I stayed human due to the necklets. before I could go after him he was off at fast speed. It was a thing mermaids and merman's can do.

The only way Ashton could have turned into a human was if my dad gave him permission. Why would my dad give him permission ? My dad never even gave me permission. That wasn't far why was I stuck here for only a month but Ashton can come up here whenever he wants it wasn't far. You see when my dad gives someone permission he can't take it back unless he is put into jail.

"Oh gosh, Niall are you okay?" I hear Zayn ask

"Oh shoot Zayn I'm so sorry its just that I... maybe we can go out tomorrow or something I have to go right now" I say getting out of the water

"How did you even get in the water Niall?"

"He pushed me in here" I say even though it was a total lie

"Who is he and why do you hate him?"

"No one important and I don't hate him its just he wasn't suppose to be here is all" I say calmly walking away not even letting Zayn comment.
