"You left the exam?" She said weakly. I looked her with tears falling down my face. "Yeah." I said and I watched anger cross her face but then laughter, "you sh*t head! " she said amused then turned to her parents and talked about how much she would miss everyone. Slowly Aurora turned back round and held my hand. She muttered a few words which ended with "night" and closed her eyes for the last time. We sat and watched with tears falling down our eyes. Just like that a life had gone. A beautiful girl, gone.
Life surprises me sometimes. How people can be a bubble of laughter one minute but then extinguished the next. I guess life is just like a candle. It can be blown out at any time. You just have to hide from the wind.
But you know what goodbye isn't forever. We'll meet again one day so smile, you'll see me again one day soon.
