Chapter 4

This chapter gets a little steamy. If you don't want to read it then just skip this chapter. You won't miss anything important. But you have been warned! So before anyone says anything I have let you know that it gets a little heated😛

*Lyke's POV*

I couldn't help myself. I just wanted to protect her and kiss her but I'm a monster. She could never love someone like me. I felt my chest tightening and my wolf was howling in protest.

"Mate." "How dare you run from her".

I ignored my wolf and kept running. I ran as fast as I could until I reached the woods. By the time I did it was already dark and that meant only one thing.

I could finally shift into my wolf form without the risk of somebody seeing me.

My heart burned and my eyes were wet. Looking at Adeline laying there unconscious made my inner wolf scared and upset. She was my mate and I wasn't going to let anything happen to her ever again. But I was going to have to be careful.

My mate.

Adeline. My mate. I've known since last year but admitting it to myself and the electricity I felt when I touched her was different than just knowing it. Every time we touched each other, even if just for a moment, I couldn't help the sparks the flew and the way my heart skipped a beat.

I heard the rustling of leaves and before I could think I growled, letting instinct take over. I was ready to fight. Ready to let my anger and hurt take control.

"Calm down big boy. It's just me. I heard you and thought you might like some relief."

I know that voice. Ashley.

"C'mon baby I know you're there."

I want to run away. To go back to Adeline and tell her how I feel about her. I want to hold her in my arms and make her feel beautiful about herself. I want to look down at her smiling face and breathtaking blue eyes. But I can't stop. I already feel myself walking towards Ashley. I need relief. I take a few steps toward Ashley, feeling myself growing in desire.

If I can't have Adeline I'll have someone else.

I know Adeline will feel this but it's already too late, Ashley and I are already intertwining and before I can think twice it's happening.

I pin Ashley against a tree as our lips meet in heated desire. I start rubbing her nipples with my free hand and as she groans with pleasure I take the moment to lay her gently on the grass.

"I want you, baby" she moans. In response I feel myself grow harder with need.

"I want you too."

I rip her clothes off piece by piece until she's laying naked on the ground, panting with need. Her perky breast rising and falling with every breath she takes.

I start planting kisses on her neck and trail down to her flower.

"Please baby." She begs. She's wet with arousal but I won't satisfy her that easily.

"Not before I get what I want first, you know that baby."

She quickly gets up and starts unzipping my pants. Panting with desire her eyes grow wide and she grabs onto my hard erection.

"You've gotten bigger since we were last together." She tries to say seductively.

Ignoring her comment I grab the back of her head and shove my erection to the back of the throat. Not caring about her feelings I let her suck me until I erupt in her mouth.

She looks at me proudly, waiting for my next move. But I catch her off guard when I start walking away and out of the woods.

"Baby? What are you doing? You're supposed to be satisfying me! Come back!" She pleads.

I ignore her desperate cries for attention and keep walking.

"You should know better, Ashley. I don't have sex with sluts."

The moment I make it to the edge of the woods I heard her scream

"You fucking bastard. I'll make you pay! Don't ever fucking think you'll get away with this!"

I just smile. She'll never seem to learn. All she's good for is a quick suck and duck. When will she ever learn that? She's not my sweet Adeline and she never will be.

With that, I walk home. A smile on my face and a pain in my heart.
