Friends? - four

Ashton:

             It's like 8:00 and I'm on the phone with Sarah. It's finally Friday. "I still wanna be friends with Cole, Sarah." I say. "Well he's going to the mall tomorrow night I guess you could go with me if you want to." She laughs. "Sounds good girl. Holy shit it's 8!" I gasp and then laugh. "I think I'm gonna go to bed" I say. "Okay goodnight." She says.

               "Ok I'm ready" I say to Sarah as we're talking on the phone. "Shit I only have an hour I need to straighten my hair my Ashton!" She says and hangs up before I get to say bye. So I have an hour before I go to the mall with Sarah and I think Isabel is going to but I just can't wait until I see Cole. "Come on Ashton!" My mom yells. "Let's get going we have a 20 min drive and we have to pick up Sarah" she yells more. "Ok I'll be down in a minute!" I scream back. I grab my shoes $10 and my phone and I run down stairs and my mom is outside waiting so I run out and hop in the car.

       "Ashton why are you so happy." She says in a low voice. "Because I am why are you so grumpy" I say like a smart ass. "Because you're never happy I'm enjoying seeing you like this I never see you happy anymore." She says loudly. I just sit in silence for the rest of the ride.

         When we get to the mall I get out of the mall and slam the car door. I walk up to the doors and I see Sarah inside with Isabel. I walk in and they both give me a hug. "What do you wanna do?" Says Sarah. "Is Cole here." I say. "Yea he's in the shoe place you wanna see him?" Says Isabel. "Yes please" I say and smile. We walk trough the mall and when we get to the shoe store I take a deep breath and walk in. "Hello hope you enjoy yourself" the lady at the front desk says. I walk down a isle of shoes ignoring her and I turn the corner. I stop suddenly and I see him. He has his back turned to me but yet again he still looks amazing I take a couple steps closer and I just stare. I kept staring for like 5 mins straight. Then all of the sudden he turned around and Looked straight at me I turned around really fast and my shirt got caught on a rack of shoes. And I pulled it right of the wall and they all tumbled to the floor. I was facing the other way now and I was gonna try not to look back at all. I bend over and start to pick up the shoes I sit them all on a bench and there's still a lot on the floor. I feel a hand rest on my shoulder and I turn around thinking its Sarah and it's not. I jump forward and knock down all of the shoes I had in a pile. "God damnit." I say. "Do you need help." Cole says sounding scared. I shutter and looked up at him and stare into his eyes "y-yes" I say really slow. He bends of and helps me pick up all the shoes without a word. It was the most awkward 15 mins of my life when we finished he stood up and started to walk away. "See you in school" he says. Then he's gone.

I run out of the shoe store shaking. I jump on Sarah. "Where the fuck were you at." I yell at her. "Sorry me and Isabel didn't want to interrupt your love fest" she says laughing. "We watched you trough the window." Says Isabel. "Ugh whatever." I say laughing now to.

The rest of the night was fun but I didn't get to see Cole again. We ended up leaving Early because I was tired. When I got home I went straight to bed and I thought of Cole the entire time.
