Chapter 9: Turn

After Klaus compels Elena to kiss him and Scott sees then decides that he wants to get out of Elena's life, Elena, Caroline and Bonnie go to Enigma to have a night off. They run into Scott and Stiles and Caroline compels them to forget about Elena and Klaus's kiss.

------------------------TWO MONTHS LATER------------------------

I was sitting in the second last class of the day, Social Studies. It was a boring class and I found myself daydreaming about Scott.

We had been dating for two months now and I've realised that I love him. I'm just so scared that he doesn't feel the same way. I had never felt like this about anyone, not Stefan, or even Damon. Tonight we're having our two month anniversary dinner and I think that I might tell him that I love him, but I can't help but worry that I might scare him off.

My thoughts were interrupted when there was a knock at the already open door.

"Principal Carter wants to see Elena Gilbert in the her office." Said the innocent freshman that had knocked. I rose from my seat and ignored the chorus of "oooo"'s and "deaaad"'s ask walked out the door.

When I was just a few metres away from the principal's office, I felt a big hand on my chest, stopping me from walking any further. I turned to see Klaus standing there.

"What do you want?" I asked. "Actually forget it, I need to go see the principal."

"No you don't, sweetheart." Klaus corrected.  He took in my look that was asking for further explanation.

"I needed to find some way to get you out of class." Klaus clarified. I rolled my eyes, why am I not surprised? I asked myself.

"So, what do you want?" I asked him.

"I have a deal with a pack. We're going to meet them so I can turn them." He told me. Of course, he wants my blood.

"There's another pack that I'm going to turn tomorrow, then, I'm finished here, in Beacon hills, I'll take my hybrids and leave, and you're free to go as you please, love." He told me. I felt so relived, not because I could leave, but because he was going to, in fact, I'm probably going to stay, for Scott.

"Okay, can we go already?" I whined, wanting to spend as little time with Klaus as possible.

Even thought the car ride was fairly long (about an hour, one way) we both remained silent for the whole duration, so I couldn't complain.  We were going to a camp out in the forest, apparently these were more natural wolves than the ones we're to be turning tomorrow.

When we got there, the process was quite quick and it all went smoothly,  that was he turned all of them, they had their first feed off me, Klaus healed me, and then he drove us back home to the mansion he had compelled for all of us a little while back.

I looked at the time, it was 4:30. I took a shower and then lay on my bed to watch Netflix for the next couple of hours before getting ready for my date with Scott.  I wore a white, lacy, v-neck, dress that reached just above my thighs. I kept my hair out will love waves going through it and s mid part.

At 8:00 there was a knock in the door. I skipped down the stairs and opened the door to see Scott standing there with a bouquet of roses and a massive grin.

"Scott, they're beautiful!" I exclaimed, taking the roses from him and placing them in the table behind me.

"Not as beautiful as you." He said. I blushed and he pulled me into a kiss. I could feel him smile against my lips. His smile made me smile, and we pulled away, both smiling.
