Kyoya was very much asleep as Prince Tamaki dragged him into class AN HOUR TOO EARLY on the first day of school. Hikaru and Kaoru were behind him, making sure Kyoya didn't stop in the middle of the hallway or turn around and go home to his bed. Oh how Kyoya missed sleeping his comfortable bed. He would have still be sleeping in it, were it not for Tamaki arriving at his house at four in the morning.
Tamaki was chattering away endlessly about how fun school would be. "Isn't this place magnificent, Kyoya! A commoners school! Oh, I've always wanted to see how the commoners are educated! Those poor underprivileged souls! They can't afford to attend prestigious academies like Ouran! I hear that they don't even have to pay to go to school. They must be so poor!" Unfortunately, Tamaki's words were wasted on the Shadow King, as Kyoya was still asleep.
"Boss! They can't be that poor." Hikaru replied. "Yeah! Don't you remember Haruhi used to go to a commoner school before getting a scholarship to Ouran. And she isn't that poor." joined in Kaoru.
"You're absolutely right! How could I have been so forgetful towards my dear Haruhi! Oh, forgive me, Haruhi, for being so cruel! Wait... where is Haruhi?"
"Hiiiiii!!!!!!!! Sorry we're late, Tama-chan!" a little boy lolita came barreling towards the prince. A tall man with a wild appearance followed closely behind the boy lolita.
"Oh, hello Honey-senpai! Hello Mori-senpai! You're just in time. Have you two seen Haruhi?" Tamaki asked, a hopeful expression on his face.
"Haruhi was the first one here," the tall boy, Mori, stated simply in his usual monotone voice.
"Really?" asked Kaoru. "We haven't seen her yet." Hikaru informed the two other hosts. "Maybe she's already in the classroom." They said in unison.
"Of course! My daughter is obviously in the classroom!" Tamaki exclaimed in his usual flamboyant manner, "Follow me! I shall lead the way!"
---40 minute timeskip---
"We're lost, aren't we?" Kaoru stated more than asked.
By this point in time, Kyoya was mostly awake and typing away on his laptop. "Well, Tamaki has managed to lead us to the complete opposite side of the building." Kyoya looked over the map that he had just pulled up on his laptop. He began walking in a certain direction. The others took the hint and followed their Shadow Prince to the correct side of the building. Tamaki ended up sulking in the back of their little group.
By the time the host club had arrived at Class D, ten more minutes had passed and most of the other students were there.
A blonde lolita (NOT HONEY) sat by the window, texting away on her cell phone. Every once in a while, the girl would giggle or mumble something about a light. Was she dying? Probably not a good idea to go towards the light.
A few seats behind the blondie was a purplette. She seemed to be staring out the window, probably day dreaming. Nothing interesting to note on her.
In the back of the classroom stood a bluenette, a green haired cowgirl, and a black haired guy wearing what seemed to be a poncho. From what the hosts could hear, the three seemed to be having a very heated conversation about guns. But the weapon or muscles, the five hosts didn't know. Well, Kyoya probably knew, but was withholding the information from the others.
And in the front row of the classroom was---
"HARUHI!!!" Tamaki exclaimed, running towards her to embrace the poor girl in a hug. Hikaru and Kaoru weren't much better. The three hosts ended up giving poor little Haruhi a group hug.
"Senpai!!!" shouted Haruhi, "Quit it! Don't do that now!"
Tamaki ended up sulking in the corner a moment later. "Haruhi doesn't like me anymore... It's all those shady twins's fault...."
"What did we do, boss?" the twins asked, truly baffled as to why their boss was blaming them for Haruhi asking him to stop.
"You two stole Haruhi from me! ANd to rub it all in my face, you're still hugging her!"
"She only told you to stop hugging her, boss."
"Only because you took my precious Haruhi from me!"
As the twins and prince Tamaki continues bickering, Kyoya pulled up the blueprints for their school and began looking at them with Mori, Honey, and Haruhi. "Our new school seems quite strange, even for a commoners school. If I had to estimate, I'd say that it took twice as much capital to build this school than it took to build and fund Ouran for the first 20 years."
"Why's that, senpai? Is there secretly gold in the floor?" Haruhi asked.
"Silly Haruhi!" exclaimed Honey, "If there was gold in the floors, this school would only cost a quarter of what Ouran Academy did to build!"
"O-Only a quarter?" Haruhi was in shock. "Seriously, how do you guys even afford tuition for Ouran?"
"It appears that this academy was designed to suit the needs of each individual student." Kyoya continued to explain, "They obviously weren't considering how to make a profit. Our classroom has bulletproof windows, since a few students are apparently good marksmen, a few tea sets in the back, as one of our classmates are British, a piano hidden behind a wall for Tamaki, a few targets that can be set up by rearranging the wall panels for the gunners, a fridge full of fancy tuna for Haruhi, and a secret passageway leading to the school's dojo for Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai."
Just then, another blonde lolita ran into the classroom. "Come on, Paula!" she exclaimed in a British accent. A brunette ran into the classroom after the blondie. "Lady Elizabeth! Wait!"
"You don't have to come with me if you---" The girl, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Midford, crashed into Tamaki and ended up almost knocking them both over. Luckily, Tamaki managed to stead them both. "Are you alright there, Princess?" Tamaki held the girl close, inspecting her for any damage.
Lizzy's cheeks turned a very bright shade of red. "Y-yes, of course. Thank you for catching me."
"How could I have been so cruel to not catch you, princess?"
Insert a guy no older than the rest of them walking into the classroom at that very moment, interrupting Tamaki's flirting. The boy set his briefcase down on the teacher's desk and turned to the class. "Good morning, class. My name is Mr. Okumera and I will be your instructor for Monster Hunting. Now please take your seats."
