It was now December 12th and only 13 days until Christmas. I had officially moved in with Regina and Henry. We told my parents a month ago and hadn't talked to them since. Yeah they have tried to call, but I ignore it, thinking all they would do was yell at me like they did when we told them.

Flashback

Regina and I had been together for a week now and everything was going great. I had picked up some clothes at my parents apartment and told them I was staying at Granny's, but apparently yesterday they found out I wasn't staying there, and that's when I knew I had to tell them. Regina and I drove to their place on a early Saturday morning. Henry was camping with a friend, so we didn't have to worry about him. We walked up to the door and Regina and I held hands. "Ready?" She asked me. I just nodded not really sure if I was ready myself. She knocked on the door and David opened the door. "Emma!... Regina?" My dad said confused. "You said you wanted to talk, so here I am." I said. He opened the door to let us in. My mom came from downstairs carrying the baby when she saw me. She smiled at me, but then saw Regina. She came up to me and hugged me while whispering in my ear "what is he doing here?" She asked, but clearly not quiet enough and Regina heard her and just rolled her eyes. "Mom... Dad... Regina and I... Well... You see... We're... T-together." I said nervously. Regina came up behind me and wrapped her arms around me. I instantly smiled at her touch and it gave me just a bit more confidence. They stared at us stunned for a moment, before breaking into a rage of questions and comments about how wrong this was. "She's the evil queen! She tried to kill us! She tried to kill me! She poisoned an apple because she thought I was prettier than her! She almost killed your son!" My mom yelled. "Our son!" I corrected her. Then David piped in. "Your mothers right. She killed hundreds of people Emma, hell she even tried to kill you! She put all of our lives in danger!" He yelled angrily. "Not to mention she's my step mother!" Snow exclaimed, shuddering at the words coming from her mouth. "Hello I'm right here!" Regina said rolling her eyes at the Charming's. Although they were acting more like uncharmings. "Mom, dad, you once told me that before you two found each other, you fought. You once said that you knew what true love looks like. You said as long as I'm happy, you would be happy. Well mom, I am happy! She's changed and you know it. I'm... I'm in love with her and if you can't accept that, then stay the hell out of my life because this is who I am." I yelled turning to Regina before I kissed her hard and passionately. We broke away, and I turned around to see my parents shocked faces. "You of all people should know what true love looks like, and if your too blind to see that it's right in front of you, then I don't know if I ever had the right to call you my parents!" I yelled running out the door. "Sorry" was what I heard Regina say as she rushed out the door to catch up with me.

It didn't go well, it didn't go well at all and since then I have been trying to avoid my parents at all cost. I couldn't stand to hear what they had to say.

Last night, Regina and I promised to take Henry to Granny's for breakfast, despite the fact that I knew my parents were going to be there. We walked in and almost immediately, my mom ran up to me. "Emma I'm so sorry!" She cried as she hugged me. Her words stunned me and it took me a moment to let her words sink in. She pulled away tears falling down her face. "You were right Emma. I'm so sorry." She said. "We both are." My dad said putting a hand on my moms shoulder with a big smile on his face. Regina smiled at me and grabbed my hand which earned us strange looks from everyone in the diner. "So you're okay... With us?" I asked. They nodded and a huge smile grew on my face.

Henry looked up at me and smiled before hugging Regina and I. Then I looked at Regina, and she couldn't contain herself. She grabbed me by my jacket collar and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss and we could feel the stares of everyone in the diner burning into us. We pulled away and stared into each others eyes before I stared at my parents and hugged them. "Care to join us for breakfast?" Charming asked. Henry looked up at me with pleading eyes. "Go on kid." I said smiling and he ran off to the booth where Neal was strapped in his car seat. Regina cleared her throat before she began talking. I had no idea what she was doing. We didn't plan to tell the rest of the town, but I guess we had to now that they had seen us kissing and holding hands. "Everyone, yes, Emma and I are together, but don't be afraid of me. I know what I have done in the past was wrong, but I've changed for Henry, I've changed for Emma." She said looking at me when she said my name. I had the biggest smile on my face, and nothing was going to be able to wipe it off. "Thank you that is all." She said finally. I kissed her passionately and from behind the counter I heard a little "awe!!" Ruby said. I pulled away from Regina and glared at her playfully. She laughed and Regina and I walked over to join the rest of our family. Those two words which I used to hate even thinking about them and now? Now those words meant everything to me.
