The sky was a dark blue, and the waves crashed on the beach loudly, pulling sand in with it. I wanted to go home, with my friends. But some of them was already here, Sapphire, Ruby, Pearl, and Amethyst. One friend, my new one, Steven. He's nice and all, he thinks anyone can accomplish anything, and that everything and everyone should be treated nicely, with kindness. I heard footsteps walking up to me from behind me. They were loud, and I knew who it was.
"Emerald," the voice said, it was Garnet.
"Hello Garnet," I answered.
"What are you doing out here?" Garnet asked.
I didn't answer, I just looked up at the stars, looking at all my different homes, knowing we've been to everyone of them, Ruby, Sapphire, and I. It felt weird to be around Garnet, though she was Ruby and Sapphire, it just felt weird because they are always fused now. I remember when they first fused, and told Rose, then me. This was before the war and before Greg met Rose, when Pearl fought by Rose's side in the fight to save Earth. I honestly didn't want to take over Earth, it already seemed like species had taken it over, and we already had so many planets that we called home, why need a new one?
"I know it's hard Emerald," Garnet said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Pearl wants to go home too, but we can't. The warp pads don't work anymore, and we have to stop Peridot before we go anywhere."
I stared down at the ocean. "I know, I just wish that Lapiz and Jasper unfuse."
Garnet sat down next to me. "I understand, I'm made of love."
4,000 years earlier...
I hoped on the warp pad, and found myself on Planet Z. I ran to Sapphire's home, and I lifted to door up. There, Sapphire was punching her right fist in the air, she was trying to find out what her weapon out. "Hey Sapphire!" I called.
She turned around and fixed her bangs, covering her eye. "Hey Emerald!" Sapphire said, looking at her gem.
I examined her gem. "Don't worry Sapphire, you'll find out what your weapon is," I said.
Sapphire smiled. "Thank you Emerald, it's just that everyone my age has a weapon."
"Eh, don't worry about it! Maybe we'll find out what it is when we go tease Peridot!" I yelled.
Sapphire looked at me like I was crazy. "Bother Peridot? But she's Topaz's best friend!"
I sighed. "So? Just because Topaz has the biggest weapon in the world, doesn't mean Peridot will tell Topaz that we're gonna go and bother her!"
Sapphire looked out her window. "I suppose so, I just hope it's worth it," I opened the door and we both ran outside, it was night time so no one would see us, except for the PZ (Planet Z) guards, Zircon, Agate, Almandine, Diamond, and Bloodstone. Bloodstone was the one we really needed to watch out for, she's the toughest gem in the entire planet, also, she's never lost in the Battle Games. The Battle Games is where two gems fight until they die, they come back though, they re-generate. Bloodstone's next "victim" in Battle Games is Jasper, in three days, and Sapphire and I had won tickets last week.
Anyway, Sapphire and I started rushing to the warp pad, but... we had to get passed Agate. Her gem is the hardest to find, since it matches her clothing, and it's her hair. Literally, if you touch her hair, it's as hard as a gem. Her hair is basically one giant gem. (I will try to draw her for one of the chapter's covers) We hid in the bushes for a bit, going over the plan. Agate was tough too, but she's in the middle of Diamond, and Almandine, and by the way, Diamond is the last one you gotta watch out for.
I grabbed Sapphire's hand and we both tip toed to a random house, ps, all gem houses are either made out of rock, Gold, Silver, or Blue Kunzite. My house is Kunzite, and Sapphire's is silver, this house we are climbing on top of right now is rock. "Ready?" I asked. Sapphire nodded. I grabbed her hand and twirled her in a circle, then she fell backwards and I caught her, our gems glowed and we fused into Blue Moon Quarts.
Blue Moon Quartz had four legs, four arms, and two eyes. The right eye is mine and the left one is Sapphire's (I have two eyes when I'm not Blue Moon Quartz btw). Also Blue Moon Quartz Had a gem on her chest, a little to the left, where her heart is, and on her right hand. She is mostly white with a hit of blue, her weapon is my weapon, a sharp boomerang, they weapon might change if Sapphire figures out what her weapon is. Blue Moon Quarts is calm on the outside, but on the inside, she can't wait to kill an opponent. I guess that's my side, but what if it's not? Maybe Sapphire isn't the sweet little doll I've already thought she was. I was starting to get confused, and I was just about to unfuse...
"Emerald? Are you feeling OK?" Sapphire whispered. "I feel sacredness in the fusion."
"What? No, I'm fine!" I said.
Agate heard us and pulled out her weapon, which was just her hair longer and sharper, and she can move it. If her hair hits you, you're losing a limb. BM Quartz (Blue Moon Quartz) gasped. I forgot that fusions were actually alive. I- we had to keep quiet if we didn't want Agate to cut us in half. That's why we fused, because BM Quartz looks like the most helpless thing on PZ. We slowly climbed down from the house, and walked in front of Agate.
"Hello Agate," BM Quartz said. I waved my hand, but Sapphire did too so it looked weird. Her hands are on the bottom and mine are on the top.
"Hello- BM Quartz? Am I right?" Agate asked.
"Yes," BM Quartz corrected. "I was wondering if you could help me... uh... find... my... FRIEND! You see... she got into a horrible fight with... Amber! And my friend... Morganite well, died. Her gem flung so far away, and I can't find it, can you help me?"
There was a long pause. "Amber? You mean the small little thing with the little wooden bat as a weapon?" Agate asked.
"Well, yes, that one. Morganite got a serious head injury, and with Amber smashing her head with the bat made her die," I said.
"You're voice sounds different," Agate said.
"OH! Why, because, the two gems that fused and made me can talk too, I'm not the only one who talks you know," BM Quartz said.
Agate shrugged. "I don't know-"
I smashed my head into Agate's so hard, she passed out.
"EMERALD!" Sapphire screamed, and we unfused. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"
"I'M SORRY! I knew we weren't going to get away-" I was interrupted when I felt something strong kick me in the face. I fell to my side, and looked up, a red figure was pinning me to the ground. "HAHA! GOT YOU! NOW I'M TOTALLY GOING TO BE A GUARD!" The gem cried. Then the red gem started punching me in the face.
"AHHHH! GET OFF OF HER!" Sapphire screamed, she ran to the red gem, and her gem lit up. A weapon, what looked like the things wrestler's wear, appeared on Sapphire's right fist. I laughed with joy as Sapphire punched the gem in the face, she fell to the ground and I saw her gem, Ruby.
Ruby pushed Sapphire to the ground, but I pulled out my boomerang and swung it at Ruby. My weapon dug deep into her chest, and she puffed away, her gem fell on Sapphire's chest. I picked it up, ready to smash in on the ground, breaking it to pieces.
"NO! Emerald... please don't," Sapphire said.
"Fine," I gave the Ruby to her. "Good job with your weapon, it's cool."
Sapphire stared down at her weapon, and made it disappear. "Thank you."
"Hey, forget the plan with teasing Peridot, my face hurts," I said.
"No! Please! Lets keep going. You said maybe I'll find out what my weapon is if we do this, maybe something better will happen if we do this!" Sapphire begged.
