(Still same time as chapter 2)
I woke up but I didn't open my eyes. All I heard was loud ringing and it wouldn't go away, I was just remembering everything that last happened. Oh yeah, now I remember.
After a while, when the ringing went away, I heard Sapphire's voice. I also heard another voice, but I couldn't recognize it. I slowly opened my eyes, slowly adjusting to the light. Sapphire and a blue gem looked at me. "EMERALD!" Sapphire cried. She hugged me.
"Wow, you finally re-generated! I'm Lapiz Lazily by the way. I'm a doctor, I work here. When you fell from the tower, you're gem cracked and you puffed away. And we were all worried because you can't re-generate well if you're gem is cracked. We were hoping you wouldn't come back until we fixed your gem. Thank god we did though, we used Rose's tears to fix you. Then we brought you back here," the blue gem, Lapiz, said.
I looked at Lapiz. "You brought me to rose? I asked.
Lapiz nodded, and blushed a little. "Well, I'll give you two some time to talk, I'll be back in about... twenty minutes. Press that red button behind you if you need help," Lapiz said, then left the room.
"She's nice," I said.
"You like her?" Sapphire asked.
"What?! NO!" I cried. Though, it was true.
Sapphire smiled. "It's OK, if you were I can see it. I think you two would make a cute couple!"
I blushed and rolled my eyes a little. "Hey, has Ruby ever re-generated?" I asked.
"Yes, she left the hospital yesterday," Sapphire said.
"Wait, what day is it?" I asked.
"Today is Friday, and it's 10:30 am," Sapphire said.
"Oh, when can I leave?" I asked.
"I don't know, now I'm sure whenever," Sapphire said.
I slowly got off of the bed. "I want to leave now," I said.
"OK, just chill out and I'll go get Lapiz to sign you out OK?" Sapphire then left the room.
I sat back down and waited for Sapphire to come back. Soon she did with Lapiz, and I felt butterflies in my stomach. Lapiz handed me a clip board and a pencil. "Just sign at the bottom, the paper just says that you accept to leave the hospital."
"OK," I said, I sighed the paper and handed it back to Lapiz.
"Goodbye- Emerald," Lapiz said, leaving the room.
"Bye," I said.
Later...
I hoped the door to Sapphire's house, and as soon as I got into the kitchen I grabbed food. I took out a bag of Doritos and sat down at the dinner table. "What's up with you Sapphire? You usually say, 'Emerald, you can't just take food from other people's houses without asking!'"
Sapphire sighed. "I guess it's because Ruby and I got along, and I knew you'd be upset."
"Wait, WHAT! She almost killed us! Plus she wants to be guard for PZ, which means having her up your ass all the time, means we can't prank gems!" I cried.
There was a long pause between me and Sapphire. "I know Emerald, listen, let's just try to forget about Ruby for right now OK? I have some bad news too. You got kicked out of the Battle Games, you can't watch Bloodstone fight Jasper."
I felt rage and disappointment. "HOW COULD THEY DO THAT TO ME?!" I snapped.
"Because you nearly killed Bloodstone, she's still trying to think of a punishment for you, hopefully she has a kind heart and wont have you killed!" Sapphire snapped.
